  1. If you're talking about standard (no HID in them), they're slightly better then the ones with the projectors. Not worth purchasing for the extra little light though.
  2. I don't live too far from the meet spot. I'll probably drop in and say 'hi' if I'm in the area. Not too keen on a cruise though.
  3. A few R32 GTSt's came out with front bars which had a motorised lip. It only drops down after 80km/h. It's just to create more down force. Edit: There should be a switch of some sort to drop it while in 'park' mode for you to clean it.
  4. You'll have to undo the stitching to get it out.
  5. It won't look 'stupid' just a little different. Most people wouldn't even notice the difference. It's not all that hard to take the headlight apart and spray the inside black. You'll probably have to take them apart to clean them sooner or later anyway. I say go for it!
  6. I still need to know what wheel widths you're after and how much further out you want your wheels.
  7. The wheel and tyre package looks crazy undersized. Is that normal?
  8. LOL that's a crazy price. 12,000k wouldn't be brighter than 4300k. Headlight lights usually range from as low as 3000k to 12,000k. It goes from a yellow light to white to blue, violet, then ultraviolet. 4300k is the brightest temperature. Same as our Sun's colour output. 12,000k would just mean the light is more blue/purple and slightly 'less bright' than 'brightest'. Just felt like explaining.
  9. Sedans came in series 2? I thought they were all series 1 to be honest. hahaha Just make sure the lights are from a series 2 and they'll fit.
  10. With wheel nuts, try to spend money on some quality ones. Those cheap ones from tempetyres, the tyre factory, etc, all break or round off after a few times after taking them off and putting them back on. Go for Rays Engineering or Work nuts. A nice little way to spend $200.
  11. They're not printed on the wheels themselves by any chance? There should be another sticker on the wheel. Should just have the wheel's width, diametre, offset, face style, etc. Just wheel specs.
  12. Seeing that these were factory items, they would be 4300k or 5000k at most. Not too sure what the globe type is though. Is it printed somewhere at the base of the globe? If not, just take it to your local repco or autobahn, they should be able to identify it for you.
  13. Did you try to open up the brake lines to get the air in or was it by accident? There shouldn't be any need to take the calipers off the brake lines. Just un-hook it from the strut 'holder thing'. Anyway, good write up. Maybe make a new thread in the tutorial/DIY section and copy, paste that post for others to see! Cheers
  14. Your name looks familiar. Did you by any chance make a audition video for top gear? You were interviewing some guy who drove a ke70 which had a sr20 engine conversion in it?
  15. From reading other people's experiences with using falcon wheels, it won't clear the front brakes. Not too sure on the fitment though. Highly doubt it will stick out of the guards or anything like that. Should be fine if it clears the calipers.
  16. Maybe get new coilpacks and clean the injectors like what others have said above? I've noticed that this has started happening to my car as well. It's got splitfire coils and a change of the plugs about 3 weeks back and no change. A clean of the injectors might help, but too much a hassle. Everything is running good except for the idle so it doesn't bother me.
  17. But he said it was a GTSt.
  18. Yeah, the 'gap' you're talking about could be a problem. When changing studs on the commodore, we had to turn the wheel to get the most space to 'knock' the studs in from behind. It could be more of a problem installing the longer studs though. Not sure what you could do apart from taking everything out.
  19. The spacers won't be legal.
  20. That's...
  21. Doesn't look TOO bad. Colour of your wheels do suit the colour of the car. In my opinion, I reckon they're a bit too big (diametre) for your car and a little too sunken.
  22. If changing wheel studs on a vt commodore is anything similar to changing them on a r33, it's not all that difficult. All you have to do would be, take off wheels, calipers, rotors and then you should be able to just 'knock' the studs out and replace with the new ones, reverse steps to get it back to normal. If the commodore and skyline are the same (for some reason I don't think they are) it should be a piece of cake.
  23. The GTR's and GTSt's digital climate control are the same. I'm not too sure about what's going on with the fuses blowing, but the clicking noise, it'll most likely be the gears. Not sure as to why it wouldn't stop after you turn it off though. Does your system ever go cold? Or is it always blow out warm air? If it's always warm, it could be your sensors playing up or your little motor which controls the hot/cool air.
  24. eBay have a few different type of LED lights to suit your needs. They give out white, tinge of blue light as well. About $7 delivered so not expensive.
  25. Only thing I would be looking out for when buying wheel nuts would the be the thread pitch. From memory, it should be 12x1.25 pitch.
