Try looking down near the bottom of the headlight, if you can only see two then there's only two. Have you tried turning these two bolts you've found yet? make sure you turn it enough (at least 5 turns to notice something, keep an eye on the beam when adjusting). If this doesn't move it then I guess you just have to wait till a R33 owner can help you out. I'm not too sure if the 33's and 32's are the same. I hope you can get this beam moved down mate. Must hurt not being able to drive around after dark.

I think most people would still be washing their cars at home, but I think the car wash is the best place to do it.

Would they still say that if you were to crash in the day time and you had witnesses that you didn't have your lights on?

I like to keep things simple. I'd go for a white car with some black rims with a polished lip or a black car with the black wheels and a polished lip.

Maybe a leaking intercooler pipe. Usually when you push your car hard, the piping could get loose and let some air leak. Check over your piping for any leaks.

I'm not positive that your problem is the gears, but I heard it was common problem on the 33's heating system. I'm just giving you ideas mate. I don't want you to rip out the dash and found nothing wrong inside. Taking the dash out seems like a huge job.

If I were to go retrofitting, I would just bi-xenon projectors to replace the standard projectors. I wouldn't put a projector in the high beam area because of the square shape you were talking about. Oh I guess if you were to modify the whole headlight so that you can't even notice that it was square originally then maybe.

It doesn't matter what globes you have in your headlights, it should still adjust the light beam. There should be I think four on EACH side if I remember correctly. Two for the low beam and two for high beam. If you try turning them, but doesn't move, try doing it more. As in keep turning it. One turn changes nearly f**k all, but it will aventually move the beam if you're turning the right one enough. Just try looking on ebay.com. Not the Aussie one, but the US one. They usually have a few projectors and globes/ballasts for sale. hidplanet.com/forums would be your best source of information.

Having four projectors, would you have one projector replacing the standard low beam system and put another in the high beam area? There's no other place to put it is there?

The sound you guys/girls (if any) is the sound of the gears slipping on each other when you're trying to change the direction. The gears have probably just worn out over time. To change it, I think you have to take out the whole dash to get to the heater core.

The gold badges make the car look a bit more classy. I say keep them on.
