  1. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure. Sorry if that f**ks your ballast or globes up
  2. Sorry if that didn't make any sense. Here's what I was trying to explain.
  3. That's f**kin crazy!!
  4. I would say it's better to get the parts you want then get a workshop to install them for you because if you got the workshop to do everything, they'll charge you on the time they used to search for the parts. Not sure if they'll actually charge you on the time used to search for the parts, but I would assume they would?
  5. I own 6000K globes in my car and I can say that it's got a blue tinge to it. If you want white light, go for 4300K. If you want blue, go 6000K. If you want stupid blue, go 8000K+ If I were to purchase an hid kit again, I'd go 4300K. I don't like the blue personally.
  6. All the hid kits are the same. They'll all give 'blurry' light. The 6000K globes are more of a blue light and the 4300K is supposed to be the colour of sun light. If I were to get an hid kit again, I would go for the 4300k. I wanted a blue to my light, but I found 6000K too much. If I were to upgrade to better lights in the future, I would definately go retrofitting. I kind of regret buying my hid kit. It's an improvement, but.... it's up to you.
  7. It should go from the original power cable to the ballast which then goes into the new hid globes. I agree with skybarge though, I've got a hid kit installed myself and it's an improvement, but it's also blinding on coming traffic. If I were to upgrade my lights again, I would go retrofit for sure.
  8. Nice ride mate. One of the cleanest 34 gtt's I've seen too.
  9. Needs sharper lines in my opinion.
  10. LOL!! That's crazy.
  11. I found HID's to be an improvement in vision, but I hate how blue the 6000K globes were. I'm surprised you like the look of the 8000K. I hope you didn't put these into a reflector housing.
  12. I wouldn't say that they weren't designed to get to 100 000km mark, it's just that people don't want to age a car which cost them $250K+
  13. That actually looks like it'll do the job, but it also looks like it's made for a toy for some reason
  14. LOL @ all the threads that doesn't make any sense
  15. Maybe you have an aftermarket ecu to handle the loss of air from the bov?
  16. $65 for a badge!!! That's crazy
  17. I think that rattling noise you're experiencing is from worn out gears. Does it happen when you're changing from hot/cold or face to feet?
  18. I think it's normal for your car to be fogging up inside when it's raining or cold outside.
  19. The best thing would be to take off your bov and reinstall the standard plumback bov. The reason you're getting fuel 'pissing' out of your exhaust is that when your afm sees in coming air, it throws in more fuel to burn that air, but that air is going out of your bov, so there's nothing for that fuel to burn, so it goes out of your exhaust/runs rich. I hope that made some sense. Does your car stall? I assume it would. I think it's best to just reinstall your plumback bov.
  20. Yeah it cost about $1000 for the parts and I think it was installation as well? for the 5stud and bigger brakes. I think it'll be a good upgrade if you can't find any good rims. Not only do you get 5 studs, but you also get bigger/better brakes.
  21. I agree, weld it to the lock nut.
