  1. Done any ringing around yet? Might have a go myself.
  2. The joke's been deleted. Sam and I sorted it. Once again, thank you Sam. Dave thinks I'm a tosser but he's entitled to. *group hug*
  3. I'd like to request a change of user name to wonkynutz. Apparently Security is feeling insecure and I don't want to distress him. Ta.
  4. Please accept my sincere apologys for casting aspersions on the divine perfection of your glorious nutbag. I'm sure it's an example that most men the world over can only dream of emulating. Unfortunately mine is a bit wonky. You get that. I try not to have a complex about it. So as not to cause further offense I am requesting a change of user name to wonkynutz. I wish to make clear to all concerned that this description applys only to my nutbag and anyone interested in the symmetry or otherwise of your nutbag should contact you personally. Hope this clears things up.
  5. Ok so maybe the fact that I know women who have had stuff like this done to them is affecting my judgement.
  6. Perhaps I shouldn't have thrown this in the public feedback section. No doubt admin will sort it if they want to. It's nothing personal Slim. Other people have mentioned stuff they don't want to see. I don't want to see this.
  7. Yes I realise it's in the joke section and it's old. I just don't think it should be left there. I hadn't seen the joke thread so I was looking through it. Most of what I saw was funny or at least fairly innocuous. I didn't think this was. That's my opinion. It's the feedback section. I'm giving feedback. I'm not going to make a big deal of it and I'll leave it for the mods to deal with. Look at it this way. What would be lost by deleting it? What would be gained by keeping it? Would you want some guest finding it and reporting it like Hilali's comments were reported? Like I said it's feedback. Forum name is a joke. Refers to fact that men's balls don't hang at the same height. If people find it offensive it can be changed. Doesn't worry me either way.
  8. AS a n00b I've been wandering around the forum checking things out. Had a look in the jokes thread in the NSW section and found this page. http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...1978&st=240 What concerns me is the fifteenth post down. "Strawberry Sundae" is supposed to be funny? I can assure you that about fifty percent of the population would find that, and the other suggestions with it, far more offensive than pictures of tits and uncensored use of the word f#$k. Some men would agree with them too. So if tits and f#$k are banned...... Look guys I have friends who've been through abusive relationships. Smashing a woman's face while she's giving head is not even remotely humourous. If I found it just wandering around other people are likely to also. Please consider. PS. I notice Dan has recently made a slight alteration to his sig. Good on him. PPS. Not meaning to slag off the crew generally. You guys do a good job and I bet you get stuff all for it.
  9. Sounds like a bum rap. Unless you have any other shit racked up I'd say they'd go easy on that one. You'll probably get some penalty though.
  10. Hey thanks for the info guys. My liner's had the same noise and I've been ignoring it for a while. Time to fix it methinks.

Kosher is a Jewish word meaning something like wholesome or good. Usually pronounced ko-sher(like go-pher). Thought everyone knew it. Gets used colloquially all the time. Oh yeah,I'd say you're ok if it's rego'ed now but ring them on Monday if you're not sure.
  12. Opionion? I'd say the ticket is kosher. He's a cop. He got pictures of you doing something naughty. You're busted. Shit happens.

Well I haven't got the regs but just commonsense would tell me those indicators aren't kosher. They'd be almost impossible to spot in real world traffic. Suggest you do a search on qldgov sites. You should be able to find the rules pretty easily.
  14. 1/How is anyone on this forum supposed to know where your turbo is? 2/Did you have it sent by Toll so you could track it? 3/Define "ages". i.e. exact despatch date. 4/You have already had 2nd,3rd,4th,5th,etc opinions that your bearings were toast. 5/Will you be supplying the popcorn this time or do we have to bring our own?
  15. Sorry to hear this mate. Suggest you posts pics of the car. It might do some good. Can't hurt anyway.
  16. Methinks also, but given my location I reckon someone in a capital city should get onto it.
  17. Too much maths and the wrong maths. You don't need to know the circumference as it's directly proportional to the diameter. Also it's not 55mm sidewalls. It's 55% of 205mm which is 112.75mm.Overall diameter of 205/55/16 is 63.19cm. I worked out the differences for my own car. 235/40/18=64.52cm diameter. Difference is 2%,so instead of indicating 100k's it'd show 98k's. Stuff all.Not worth worrying about. Oh yeah,235/45/17 is slightly less, about 1.8%.
  18. Well I tried this bunch that do seals for (scuse the naughty words) Fords and Holdens and such. They have theirs made in Melbourne but the place doesn't make 32 seals.I think he said they do 31's though. So far I'm stuck with Nissan.Hey just a thought:given the number of 32's with rooted seals around now it might be possible to get a good price for a load of them custom made.
  19. Nice price.Checked their webpage today.Would be going 17x8 with 235/45 front and back for my R32GTS4.
  20. Oh yeah one thing to watch if you do go for a cold air intake duct is not to run it too low.Can suck up water if you hit puddles. Not good. One mod that some people have done with success is to holesaw some holes in the steel beneath the standard air box and cut matching holes in the plastic.Easy, cheap and no defect notices. Acer is right. We all gotta start somewhere and none of us know everything.Cheers.
  21. No problem. His stuff up, not yours.
  22. Thanks Duncan. Hadn't heard of Speedy's. Cheap and strong sounds good. S'pose listing all the obvious top line wheels would be a good idea. So we all know the Rays/Volk,BBS and Oz Racing ranges etc are fine if you can afford them. Wouldn't need to post every wheel in their catalogues. One thing that has occured to me is how do we guard against purveyors of dodgy wheels posting them as safe? It's a problem that might occur eventually. Sounds like a a job for the Mod Squad. I mean they don't have anything else to do right??
  23. Gotcha. Thanks for that. Makes perfect sense. Gives current status, protects privacy, saves flaming, etc. Hey I just had a thought. Mind you it might make my warning bar rocket to 99.99% instantly. Ahem. Mods can PM if they're curious. Will keep thought off forum.
  24. Cool. Not sure about the whistling though. Usually the top rear corner will chew through the seal over the years but mine doesn't whistle or leak yet. Mind you that's just mine. Btw, the bloke at Clark rubber might have meant they only have seals for coupes. Obviously the sedan ones are different. Will look forward to reading your report.
