got the car back from the gearbox place today

now with recon gearbox covered under waranty. did i mention it still has warranty left ,over a year. no swaps sorry, only have a month left to sell her so make me an offer as i dont want to sell it back to the car yard so they can sell it for 18 grand or more

hey mate got my series 1 at a joint called perth gearboxes, cluthes and diffs . thats not the exact name but there on fransisco street in belmont. not shure if they know how to do series 2 but there fixing my slipping problem

whats stopping you. freight might not be expensive as im geting a series 2 over from Queensland and return freight is cheaper . just a thought

well im trying to get 13k for mine with 97xxx kms but shes an auto but good selling point of mine is it sill has over a year of waranty left plus mods and every option under the sun

thanks guys. havent driven her yea as its still in japan. i have driven 1 s2 though and found the gear shifts soft. anyone else with an s2 had a shift kit fitted or found auto shifts sloppy

neo and triptronic was the main reason. was just about to pour a few more grand into my s1 and one of them was to lower her and the s2 looks way low, the other was to get my nismo kit fitted and painted so i figgure the money i save can justify the upgrade..... my gf aint to happy though but she seems to nice to say no

hehee... shure hope so....... um the reason for the upgrade was this one was goin quite cheap, hope for not the wrong reasons and she seems to have most of my options but in an s2 so triptronic and all the other bits. it sad but good there gettin cheaper. sucks cos i wont be gettin f all for my s1 but good cos the new one is only gona cost a bit more than my s 1 did 1.5 years ago. wat do you reckon a s1 in good condition is worth fully optioned with minor mod. might have to sell it back to the yard from whence she came but i got 6 weeks to try and sell her as my newbie is still in japan

MODS ARE .cat back 3 inch HKS zorst ( nice note not to droney) .Hybrid fmic .auto trans shift improver ( firmer shifts than normal, like stage 1 shift kit) .splitfire coilpacks VISUAL MODS .17 inch black 5 spoke mags(speedline) .all windows tinted to match optional tint I also have a full nismo body kit i bought but have not fitted and will give the car buyer it at a big disscount in price from what i paid any offers over $12000 new pics

i used a really sharp stanley knife to cut my bumper. the plastick is soft and the knife makes a clean cut

cool mine has been on afew beaches and she seemed to love it except for clearance. the plan was to get stock rims with some small 4wd tyres that can be let down to low psi

not what i wanted to hear but cant argue with majority. oh well gona have to save up 4 a real 4wd

just an idea but i was thinking of getting a stock pair of 16 inch rims and putting some 4wd tyres on so i can go to a nothern surf spot. no serious 4wd just some light sand stuff and use my normal wheels for everyday driving. what size tyres could i fit on the 16 rims with no clearance problems. i have already tried some 4wd fun but with some small 4wd tyres with low pressure it would be quite capable in sand

my 2 cents says its r&r issues as i have had splitfires installed and new plugs gapped at .8mm .all went well untill i fited my dump and high flow cat and now under hard revs i hit retard. even more noticeable when cold. i have not touched boost levels except for the boost mod where u earth the solenoid to be open. also have no boost gauge so not sure what its runing at wit my mods. just ewaiting on someone to trial emanage ultimate and if it works im next
