There is a vibration absorber in the steering wheel which is suspended between rubber buttons. Sounds like the rubbers have broken. You can fix it with silicon rubber tubing.

Gears in starter drive get contaminated with clutch dust. You need to remove the starter, clean the drive components,grease and re-assemble. Starter is a bit tricky to remove and install. Remember to disconnect your battery first.

Does the instalation of the 300km speedo by-pass the 180km/hr limit which exists with a standard car?
