  1. I'm interested, With the gutter marks, any close up pic that you can post? Also has any of the wheels got slight buckle in it (e.g. due to hitting the kerb)?
  2. ITEM IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR SALE AGAIN DUE TO TIME WASTER Refer to first post above.
  3. Another thing to ask is with all those rating out of 10, what's your rwkw power? A cheapo non-grippy tyre can be rated as having excellent grip on a 60rwkw car, while even a very good tyres that grips well on a 180rwkw will be practically useless when fitted to a 260rwkw car.
  4. That's why getting a CAMS license is a good idea to enjoy the other side of 180km/h on the track!
  5. I'm not a mech or auto elec but I believe it would work. you'd loose your PRND21 display though, but u can always look down quickly to verify which gear u're in if in doubt.
  6. ebay has blue GT badges come up regularly from time to time. i think the seller has link to wreckers or import them in on regular basis.
  7. I suppose the S-02 is now replaced by S-03 Dunlop SP-3000 Dry: 9/10 Wet: 8.5/10 Value for $: 8/10 Quite an expensive tyres when new, they cost about $600 each as I was told by workshop. I bought them 2nd hand with 80-90% thread left at almost nothing. Lucky find. Simex SM-8000 Dry: 7/10 Wet: 5/10 Value for $: 7/10 Cheap-ish tyre. You could virtually get them for free if you buy 2nd hand rims with them on it. Possibly not worth spending unless you're super tight on money or just getting basic tyres for compliance/selling a car. Wet handling is very bad, hardly any grip at all. Anyone with more than 140rwkw using this type of tyre better be very very careful driving it in the wet.

  9. daler32, it's probably easier to get an aftermarket Nismo blank key from the shops or internet direct from Japan... unless you have special reason to get a genuine Nissan R32 blank key....
  10. I've seen hundreds of them in recent NZ trips... I'd be thinking twice to call it "family car", since hoons loved 'em in Auckland, Dunedin & Wellington... Loud exhuast, fanging down Queen St, Auckland, they look good and sounds nice.. And as SS8_Gohan said, it might still be a while before SEVS compliance available for this model.

Chasers were already there since BMT had that blue mean S15 in Auto Salon 2 years ago... They used to have a shop on Queensberry St, Carlton....

True :-) No point for me making a paralel thread.... Genesis Tuning, Race Pace Tuning, etc... it'll be the same replies :-) But I've managed to get an idea from the responses and would aim for the best tuner. After all it's my baby's engine...

    Chasers Tuning

It IS off topic, there's an article in latest HPI about beefing up an auto. you can trick the auto with an electronic shift kit which will make your auto runs like a manual. you then have to shift it out of drive, 3 , 2, 1 yourself. Better try grab the magazine and have a read, the article is quite informative.

Thank's for the input guys... Not sure if those having issues when the car was tune at Protek due to time constraint (hiring other's dyno cost more not to mention trying to fit in other's schedule) or just a matter of other factor.

They're just moving into new workshop, dyno won't be in the new place till sometime next week I was told. Quoted good price by them. Didn't talk to Benny/Paul, it's the other guy, Scott who spoke to me on the phone.

    Chasers Tuning

Hi, Been a while since i jump on this forum, quite busy lately with work... now that I'm shopping around for PFC tuning cost around Melb... got a question... Has anyone here got their PFC tuned by Chasers before? Either by Benny or whoever else who works there... Preferrably input from those RB owners.... but any other car PFC result is welcome... Thank.s
  20. thanks for the info... If it's the regulator or the mechanism, anyone know where can i get it replaced in melbourne? do i have to use special nissan parts or issit some generic parts that any power window repairer can use?
  21. Latest news: I haven't got around to fix it yet, but this morning it was very cold and i tried to play around with the up/down switch. it suddenly made a rattling sound (like a gear tooth missed or something) on the up direction. then i push towards down and the windows wind down!!! then i wind it up again, then it stuck again in up position until now.... from the rattle sound i heard before, looks like not electrical but more like something in the mechanism has dislodged or loose?
  22. I'll come along, bringing a friend who just purchased a Skyline, he's thinking to signup as a member....
  23. I think BATMBL on this forum sells a hi-flow 3" cat converter that will bolt on to skylines. go and search the for sale section. manufactured by CATCO and the largest EPA approved cat converter for the street, I think that's the one to go for.
