im not so much worryed about looks or power, as i dont plan to mod this car (maby one or to mods) as i will manly use the car to drive between wagga wagga and melbourne (4h one way trip on the hume). looks like i will be considering a r32 gts-t or the supra. and yes im not a fan of turbo's,

hi guys, about the end of the year i will be looking at a new car. as the R31 is abit anoying to drive on long trips. so what im after is a car that get's from a-b and is comfterble to drive while still being fun to drive. price max $15000 i have had some idears. r32 gtst r33 gtst 180sx supra non tubro. i would like another skyline and am leaning to the 32 over the 33 as 33's are so common, however the 32's are getting. the 180 has being of intrest but same as the 33 is done a duzone. which leave's me with the supra. i have always had a soft spot for the supras since TFTF. and a non turbo would be good as fuel cost will be down on a turbo. (i do have a heavy right foot). and they are generly good regards relibilty. so what are you guys thinking, if you have had exsperance driveing any of these car would be good. alos no BS answer's like get this echo and s#$!. chears brentt

i rember reading a artical by the editor on j-style tunning. it was only a few months ago (i think when www.j-spec.com had thier first dyno day). he argues that j-style is not a true cullture, as far as i can rember. if you email them they would be able to tell you what issue the artical was.

that's scewed when did you laws change. any way as far as i know what you do in another state does affect you licence i.e. you speed you get a speeding fine and points taken off. best do as you said ring RTA/VIC roads and ask them. also dont ack like idots and you wont attract the cops

i used bendix when i first got my car. i hated them, they didn't even hold up under normal driveing conditions, and im talking about a stock r31 skyline. then i changed to DBA sloted disc with disk tech pads front, and brakeing improved 10fold. i then put frodo exel pads on the rear with DBA sloted disc, and i couldn't complain appart from the frodos ceating a lip quiker then the disc techs. i am now useing r33 gtst front calipers with DBA 4000 sloted disc and rb74 pads. rears still the same. so the best thing to do would get some RB74 pads (race brakes) and DBA sloted discs. and what the bendix tech is saying bull. i will never use bendix or RDA (rda a cheep copy of DBA).

the only problem i have if they will sit to close to the struts with OUT spacers and if they might hit my calipers.

yea im the same. but i happy with 5mm no more. unless you can get mea +30mm 17 x7, that wont cost me my left nut ill buy it

dam al how long does it take to put a rb25det head on to 30 block and what need's to be made up. man i was hopeing to see you there and have some fun and cool it's now cheeper

yea i will,im move to wagga wagga next week, so ill try and get up to canberra to see the guys at ozzy and test fit them. ill be happy if i have to use a 5mm spacer, just not a 20mm. thier a +35mm offset just had a good read through the run. dami need a new box so i can keep up with you guys.

well dan you know i would help you 100% if i was 100% comeing, however cause i now live in wagga wagga its as follows. friday-450km trip to melb (what fun) sat- track day (hope i dont brake any thing) sun- 400km round trip down GOR sun night 450km trip to wagga so looks like the liner will need a service after just one weeken. but i wona come cause it will be fun. altho i think 3-4 tanks of fuel for me (apx $320) and al thanks for the brakes they are now on
