Hey guys id like to just make sure that its rite but from what ive read on here the max bore size of the n1 rb26 is 88mm ? and the size it comes is 86mm ? Cheers.

thanks devil it sort of did.... seems like some say yay some say no with all theyre vaild opinions.... hmm still on the fence... need more concrete opinions.... ill keep searching and reading but thanx devil.

Hey guys just have few questions as im on the fence about going the rb26/30 or building a rb26 with n1 block from scratch. Ive read all i could find on here about the 26/30 way and the torque gains etcc and less revs to get the power etcc.I couldnt realy find much on people who had gone and stuck with the 26.Ive asked afew mechanics who have done the 26/30 and done a rebuild 26 and half have said to stick with 26 and half say go the 26/30.Some have said not to bother with the rb30 bottom end as its not really worth it as u can get the same if not better from a 26bottom end? Alot of the jap gtrs i see seem to be all 2.7 2.8 with some being 3ltr.Is there a reason the japs stick to the the 26 bottom end and not many look at the rb30 bottom end ? If anything ive said is wrong sorry just from what i have read seen or heard. Any one here done both the full build on a rb26 and then tryed a rb30 ? I just think personally the thing that makes the gtr "special" if i may is the rb26.

its got nothing to do with dont do something stupid. if anyone can honestly say thats its quiet allrite to loose or have the possibility to loose ur car because of a pod filter or a different gear knob then ur just another beureacratic public servant.they should be concentrating on other shit not wasting everyones time and money on giving us less freedom... better yet lets just go to work pay tax come home and shut ur mouth and sleep then do that all ur life....fix the f**ken roads and infastructure around the place...

hmmm well i have both a SR and a RB and im sure someone else will say it but it will depend on how much money you have. im sure if you had endless money a RB would be better in my opinion as its 6cyl not 4. but they are both dam good engines. but i dont know much so ill leave it at that.

thanks gary now that i know what to look for i will ..... what would be the benifit from say a set with 9mm or so to a set with 10mm ?

Just a quick question before i purchase the Tomei Poncams Duration: IN 260 / EX 260 Lift: IN 9.15mm / EX 9.15mm for my rb26. By the search seems theyre the best to get now that change with the types of mods i currently have? hks 2530 wiseco pistons porting cam gears full stainless exhaust + dumps cept the manifolds stil stock(manifolds to go in with the cams n air flow metres) injectors fuel rail power fc front mount air flow metres are still stock(have bigger ones to go in with the cams) boost controller Thanks.

it seems to only do this when im in high gear and low revs than when i start to acclerate i its reallll boggy and the light comes on when i drive around normally its fine... has done it when i turned the boost up a lil.... ill take it to a tuner when they open up after holidays thanx sewid...

hmmmmm okay did help the read was informative .... its a bar graph on the hand controller but when the bar graph went allmost full it started flashing the light.... mite try the high octane approach thanks gtr32gus.

okay ill go check now so what does exactly "knock" mean and what causes it ?

so its normal for it to go up when at high revs.....? so im assuming the 2 4 6 8 etccc are kg readings... to check the knock is that just in the power fc hand controller? and i check it on idle?

Hey guys i got a little problem and im not sure what it means? i was driving last night and seems that when im in low revs and in say a high gear the orange check engine light started flashing quickly and i notice the oil pressure started going from like the second line to over 4 on the oil gauge in the dash? i notice then when getting onto the freeway and acclerating up to the speed limit it done it again and seemed to for the rest of the nite everytime i acceleralted the pressure rose up. I assume this is a bad bad thing but what is it ? i got a r33 gtr has power fc n1 oil cooler hks turboes ported head pistons catch can injectors fuel rail 3.5in exhaust standard air flow meters. help? ......

sort of off topic but my turbo sss does the same on my driveway and its on a hill. i was told it could be coz my pump is to the front of the tank and apprently fuel pumps need constant pressure in the lines and its missing coz its getting some air in the line? something like that.... mine doesnt seem to do it when ive just filled up but does when its either half or almost empty. also been told could be my quad throttle bodies not shutting completely dunno mite help..

hmmm arent the turbos off skylines like no good after 14 psi ? or is it a myth ? id still be interested though id have to make a custom manifold to fit onto my SR. hmmm ill get back to u .,
