    IRONCHEF how much roughly would it be to land her a R32 GTR. doesnt have to be perfect paint or interior. Can have some fruit would be nice. No HUGE amounts of rust. Will be tracked only. Just a rough guide would be good

    Yer thats what im thinking. Its hard reading threads setting cars up for drags when the one ill be running is half the length.

    Oh ok excellent. Im looking at a track car right now and was tossing up between a gtst or gtr beacuse I could do more events in the gtst. But if its safe to run the gtr in rear wheel mode then that's the one ill get

    Can a 32 gtr be run in rwd with a torque splitter for extended period of time safely? Will it damage anything etc? Thanks

    Hey all Using an rb26 would it be quicker down an 8th mile drags using smaller -9s over the larger -5s? Over the shorter distance would you get to use the top end of the 5s? Or would the quicker spool of the 9s be quicker?

    Interesting thoughts.... As said the other option is going a 32 gtst. Has anyone run some huge slicks on a GTST? How does it compare with how the GTR hooks up? Dropping from 6 grand in the 33 gtr and only had slight wheel spin?

    Dont get me wrong, I dont want an 8 second car. Im not spending $100, 000 on a car. Im after something with a little bit of go and stopping to have fun with. That I can keep the upkeep as cheap as possible etc

    The only reason i was thinking a 32 gtr is - 4wd grip - Lighter factory panels, bonnett / gaurds - Excellent standard brakes - Can fit big wheels from factory on wide gaurds - LOVE the look over GTS-T (i know not a big thing in the scheme of things) - All the interior etc can be sold at an ok price etc

    But what im thinking is i dont want huge power so i was even thinking just putting a rb25 in it. get the 350kws from it etc
