  1. holy cow roy!! do you understand what you are saying???? the FW14B was THE F1 car of the century! ANY BLOODY driver could have won the WDC in that technological beast!! sheesh! hamilton doesnt have the advantage yet hes rubbing established noses in the dirt with or without that edge..! I LIKE that.. and F#$K what anyone else thinks.
  2. jeez... your not exactly quick off the mark are you? isnt that article like 2 weeks old?
  3. trust me.. we are very well aware of it but some dont seem to really give a shit as to how it will affect the championship and guaranteed, if this goes down the way those i know within the sport say its going to happen, then this is BAD news for Mac and great for Ferrari..
  4. Just because you have a loan, doesnt mean you cant come over here..you just have to put money into the account their taking it from regularly... sell the car. that would help and besides you would get one so much cheaper here. i did that for a year and a half...between 500 and 800 dollars a month.. not easy but its done now.
  5. as far as i know they are sponsors for motorbike racing teams..
  6. there are 4 grades in japanese proficiency. starts at 4 and then gets progressively harder. Peter is going for the level 2 which will allow him to enter a Japanese company as an employee..provided he passes though. level 2 is pretty hardcore. level one is of the scale hard. Ill be going for my level 3 in december.
  7. Mikas pass on Michael was ultimate balls. Ill never forget that. Gotta remember how the lap before though, Schumi was quite content top put him on the grass at 300kph... I was at the chicane and saw Alonso pull of an even ballsier move at 130 R last year. that move was insane. I simply enjoyed the fact that hamilton had a similar pair to stick it right up the inside of both of the ferraris in only his third race.. cmon, admit it..we have a special talent in hamilton on the grid.. NOT that im NOT saying that about the rest of the field but to come in just after Schumi retired and do what hes doing.. jeez..he walked up to the big Ron, at aged 8..not 12, and told him what the score was! he had a pair when he was still a little tacker.. gotta love that.
  8. ...and by brilliant i was referring to the way he comprehensively rattled Massas cage during the after race debriefings. Poor little Felipe had to eat a whopping slice of humble pie and im sure he gave Hamilton a little more respect after that little exchange..
  9. i suppose you will also be the type of person to say that going around the OUTSIDE of one ferrari and then the INSIDE of the other on the first lap on cold tyres and race fuel was pretty ordinary too then, wouldnt you? i reckon your impossible to please and i dont understand why you watch the sport at all...
  10. "didnt have to" but DID. hamilton saw it coming. Massa saw the red mist and if he had lost it wouldve taken both of them out.
  11. by the way dat is one hornbag GTR..and a mines special at that... 80 thousand big ones is a little steep though,..
  12. HOPE THAT HELPS YOU MATE. whoops left the caps on... :)
  13. Hamilton said that he knew massa would out brake himself, driving as raggedly as he was and he did just that. An intelligent driver knows when to do those things. He stuck to the inside line, baited Massa by suddenly moving to the outside line and Massa obliged hook line and sinker and overcommitted himself to the corner subsequently overshoting the corner. I thought it was brilliant psychologically from a guy in his 3rd race ever. i still dont understand why people stick the boot into him...
  14. well hes kinda rewriting the rulebooks though, isnt he? Ive been watching this sport closely for 20 years and i cannot think of one driver who made as great an impact in his rookie year as Hamilton has. and, no it takes two hands to hold my whopper so i wouldnt have been able to type it at all...
  15. you may be right and this is a good indicator as to a level of attack young Lewis may or may not be used to yet.. Alonso takes off the gloves... ....After nine races Alonso trails Hamilton by 12 points in the Drivers' Championship even though both drivers have won two races. Hamilton, however, has performed more consistently than his team-mate, finishing all nine events in the top-three. Alonso on the other hand has finished three grands prix off the podium. The Spaniard, though, believes Sunday's result in Britain, which saw him finish more than half a minute ahead of his rookie team-mate, is evidence that he is now leading the McLaren team-mate battle and will go on to win the World title. "Sooner or later we'll close up the gap," the reigning F1 Champion told AS newspaper. "Since Canada I have been a bit faster than him. At Indianapolis I couldn't overtake him, and at Magny-Cours I had a gearbox problem. Here we had a normal race and I finished over 30 seconds ahead of him. "There are favourable races coming up now, like Germany and Hungary and the aim is to finish ahead of Hamilton and reduce the gap. "With normal races, sooner or later I will reduce the gap. I must be on the podium always one step higher than him." He added: "It's good that the Championship leader has more difficulties on track, and especially here in England and after pole." Hamilton, though, isn't the only obstacle standing between Alonso and a third successive World title. "We can't forget the Ferraris, who have been faster than us again," he concluded.
  16. I dont know where you get your info but i dont understand this place and still make around 50k a year...
  17. fair point. in that case you cant blame me for sticking up for him...
  18. we can see his character when being interviewed. Hes polite, well spoken, humble and tearing open the establishments and their preconceived notions and ideals. I like him. hes VERY good for the sport.
  19. there seem to be a lot of them already and some on this forum.
  20. how exactly would the driver NOT perceive this as failing?
  21. holy spoof stains batman! I think i need to change my jocks...
  22. i dont listen to what the media is trying to sell me. I dont buy that shit. What i do know is that Hamilton has earnt his seat and who is to say Ron Dennis shouldnt have guided his career in the process? Youre wrong about Kimi. He waltzed in to Sauber in a similar fashion.
  23. comments like that really piss me off mate. you want to cut down the tall poppy just like the next aussie dont you? what is it about you that likes to see people fail? how would you like it if i said " id like to see you lose your job so i can see how you handle it." pull your heads in lads. its a downright bullshit attitude.
  24. hahahahaha what a load of garbage.
  25. just walks straight in does he? Mclaren was unreliable and nowhere near the championships last year, or did you forget to watch the races? so since he was 8 years old he has just walked into a Mac seat has he? i guess if it wasnt for otherworldly talent then hed be driving a spyker the wouldnt he? i suppose Ron had no idea why he and mercedes of all companies invested so much time and resources on a kid who would one day just walk the red carpet and lead the world championship at his first attempt. sheesh. why is this noob in the game at all?! mate, im sorry to pick holes in your statement like this but bloody heck you havent a clue about the guy have you?
