  2. that is a stinking hot honda that puts the S2000 in the shade. Im glad the "performance" arm of the maker got their hands on it as well...yet ive aways been confused.. how can a perfomance car maker have a "high performance" division?? like its original products dont perform that well?
  3. your a honda dealer and your on here spouting off about nissan products... hmmmm...if i was your employer id be asking some interesting questions..like " Do you know your way to the dole office from here?" :laughing-smiley-014:
  4. the current L and P plate laws do go quite a ways so as to address this problem. im all for a not allowing a naive, reckless and hormonally compulsive teen getting behind the wheel of a 200 plus KW machine.. perhaps thats the way.. limit KW's the way bike riders get a restriction on CC's... Anyone care to argue?
  5. id like to see where you got that "research" from... In the wrong hands in the wrong frame of mind, affected by adverse conditions, and the rest then yes i may agree with you.. are people so adverse to restraining themselves from blowing this situation completely out of proportion? face it. we drive performance vehicles. Ive said it before and ill say it again and again and again and again if needs be.... QUOTE, "High Performance vehicles do not cause the damage. Low performance drivers do." tell that to the bumbling old lady meandering across the median strip during her 200 meter trip to the shops to buy bread that causes a multi car pile up.
  6. doesnt this all make you think owning one of these things is just a waste of time and money...? dont get me wrong.... id like your opinions.

  17. heres what a snooty nosed little upstart son of a F1 champ had to say about Hamilton the biggest thing to F1 since sliced bread.. This little rag thinks he knows it all before hes even lined up on the grid!! Piquet: Nothing special about Lewis Saturday 30th June 2007 Nelson Piquet Jr has downplayed Lewis Hamilton's success this season, saying any rookie driving a McLaren MP4-22 could have achieved the same results. Hamilton has wowed the F1 fraternity in the opening seven races of this season, finishing each and every grand prix on the podium, including two victories. The 22-year-old British rookie has also already clinched two pole positions. However, Piquet Jr, doesn't believes there's anything special about Hamilton. "If Lewis was in Heikki's position he would be doing the same, making a mistake here and there," the Renault test driver told O Globo newspaper. "He would be in a car that's not the quickest and he would have to push more to obtain results. "It is a lot easier to drive a car that's already fast and that allows you to grab pole or finish second." Piquet Jr also believes a large part of Hamilton's success is down to the reliability of McLaren's MP4-22. "Consistency is achieved through the car. He has never broken down in a race, he has never had problems, and his car is always one of the quickest. Then he doesn't need to do much," he continued. "If he continues working the same way, he is going to finish on the podium in every race. The McLaren is half a second quicker than the rest of the teams."
  18. seems we have forgotten about this thread.. i want to make this contribution. If DA events were held like this with this laid back attitude towards them then this thread never wouldve existed in the first place.. funny as anything this vid..
  19. i know but apart from that....
  20. just to give credit where credit is due i think you all should see just how good Katsuhiro Ueo is from the outside...im sure many of you already have but hes one of the best so let me remind you.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HQq4lWalY1Q...ted&search= enjoy.. DA is no where NEAR this level but damn id love it to be... still..if you want to see the way Katsuhiro Ueo builds an 86 have a look at this...

  22. never know Rezz....coulda been an off duty AV star...
  23. Its an old vid and you can tell by the boofy curls Orido has for hair.. but bloody hell, the engineering thats gone into this 86 is damn cool. keep an eye out for how fast it shoots off into the distance at around a minute.
  24. I admit to not having the tackle to do something that nuts but damn the guy was like ice. you wouldnt have been able to pass a tally-ho between the car and the wall on that second run..
  25. i couldnt believe this video. The guy was totally on it and he wasnt just "locking" it down the straight..he had the mongrel in 3rd at redline before he decided to toss it in... im not sure if its bravery or insanity?
