He wont come back. there is too much at stake. Too much to lose. a 7 times world champ getting trounced by the youngsters? lol, cant see that happening in this lifetime...still, its a salivating prospect.

i think you have completely misread the excerpt. 12 months continuous regardless of purchase date OR for 3 months if the car was purchased before 8th of may 2000. if he bought it on 1st of January 2008, he will be able to import it into Oz after 1st of january 2009. how do you think so many people are bringing in PI's? you think they have all owned their cars since 2000?

could it be??????

lol, not only is MS still mighty quick he is also a master of understatement and modesty... "The German topped the time sheets on his return to the cockpit. He said: "It took me a bit of time, maybe two laps, and then I was back into the groove." "And I have to say I surprised myself that I was so quickly on it again," he added. " LOL< stick him in a force india! hed still show them all how its done. Ive always wanted to see how he would do in cars that far back in the field...

gtst, did you forget to take the anti anger pills today? :PBJ:

this is dumb shit reporting from tokyo... latest news is that the one and only Shu has shown an old but still clean pair of heels to the whole pack in testing at Burca. Lapping some 2 tenths faster than Luca Badoer in the sister red head, Shu showed the field he is not over the hill ( although D.Hill is definitely over him ) and will continue to make 10 times more money that the rest of the drivers and that, during retirement. I say bring him back. Question is./// Who would take him, how much does he want, how long would he stay, why would he do it ...spring up as questions that come to mind over michael... I for one, can't believe hes still as competitive as he was 15 years ago... he truly is a man apart.

you have got to be JOKING me! somehow and i havent the slightest idea how, Honda have pulled off the impossible... they've signed Brawn for the 2008 season!!! lol, i guess the Jean Toad wont be out of a job after all! My God, how did they manage THAT>>>??? http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_2877527,00.html where will this rollercoaster of a season end??? i think im gonna puke!

any particular reason you had to say the same bloody thing 6 times? i cannot believe what depths this sport has plunged to. its a f**king joke. If mclaren were belted with a 100 million dollar fine and the best the FIA could do was come up with circumstantial info and this time Renault have been busted with more concrete evidence, if i were mac, id be screaming blue f**kin murder if they arent mightily caned. renault will fold like a drunk and broke poker player. which means the dirty sanchez aint going anywhere. Renault are not in F1 to spend up big. Ghosn has specifically said that the program is in danger if they cant streamline costs. Renault brass wont have a bar of copping a rod on their backs the likes of which is bearing down on them at this very second. They pull the pin faster than a german in ww2. I am absolutely dumbfounded at how stupid this season has made me feel.

im just wondering how many people would like or are looking for model kits of the above mentioned series? I have come across many places in and around tokyo that have some pretty rare stuff and im wondering if anyone would want to get their hands on that kind of thing...
-
i may not mind using my credit cards and account to buy stuff for other people on line but ill be asking for a brokering fee and postage of course... wonder if that appeals to anyone...

wow! Schumi is getting back into the cockpit! let the rumour mill spin, spin, spin! http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,18954,3213_2864232,00.html

lol, that would have to qualify as one of the silliest comments ive heard in years...sorry Duncan. Its true. remember jaguar? MW put himself and that beast of a car on the map ver 2 years. An utter pig to drive, he qualifies the thing on the front row in malaysia. remember that one?

i disagree im afraid on this point F1 went to v8's because of the regulations. The FIA wanted to cut costs and thought this could be achieved by dropping 2 cylinders. It wasnt because of drive shafts.

edited. double post because of server error. sorry sleeper, didnt mean to hijack your thread by trying to get the lowdown on a guy i used to know. carry on!

lol, so you are married. well congratulations. guess you didnt have to force her into it like i did hey? i wonder why you dint just get a spouse visa like the rest of us. whether someone on here knows im married or not, what kind of car i drive, what position i hold is really not a concern of mine. lol, yeah actually i am a lecturer. lol again..and yeah at a university, Ken. For once, just be happy about where i am in comparison to where i was. just got my meishi this week. Its a normal job too. I hope you get as much enjoyment from your work as i do. You have made all sorts of judgments about me recently but its just a shame you've been so far out of the loop. I dont work in a servo any more, lol! LOL, if only you knew. Anyway, congrats again on the marriage. She looked really nice last time you showed me the photo. Glad it worked out for you in the end. Adam

LOL, no, not 20 minutes by shinkansen! 20..sorry i guess i exaggerated, 25 minutes by special or semi special express to shinjuku. You dont need to pay through the roof to get a great place close to all the action. My wife and I pay ¥114,000 for a great, secure and modern 2dk with all the trimmings. Thats the normal price around here... im curious... what are you paying? by the way, ken lives in the ritzy suburbs...no slumming it for him. Thats why the rent is through the roof... lol, i have to ask ( a little off topic )but did you marry that supermodel ex you were supposedly getting back together with? coz last time i remember, you didnt have a degree and im sure you never taught in australia, so you wouldnt qualify for self sponsorship in teaching... you cant be working for Nova...theyre gone// Berlitz? ECC? cmon mate, enlighten me!

Your Australian license will not be valid anyway if you change it to a Japanese one. Its so easy to do but i can tell you, if you dont have the right paperwork, expect a lot of hassles. Basically you have to prove you have stayed in Australia for at least 3 months. Its sounds so stupid but its the rule. The authorities are fed up with uni students going to australia to get their licenses where it wont cost them over $2,500 OZ yes, its that expensive. Just bring your passport. hoping it is at least 3 month older than your departure date and you are set. Also you will need to get the license translated. it only costs 4000 yen. take that with everything else to a motor reg and all you need to do is take an eye test. That will only cost you a few thousand yen as well. Its so stupidly easy but driving here is difficult i can tell you. At least you wont have to deal with tokyo traffic. almost everything is in japanese so you may want to budget for a Navi at some stage. Using a street directory is basically useless. It amazes me how easy they have made it for us to get a license...most of us cant even read one single kanji. Auction yards are closed to the public. Period. I have many friends in the trade and you can get a visitors pass to go with them. basically dont be surprised if you almost never see a car being sold privately in a paper. There are virtually NONE. Only the smattering of gaijin looking to flog their car off for a sayonara sale. Want second hand? Gotta go through a registered dealer or go through an online auction place like yahoo. virtually every car that is sold second hand goes through an auction. A tight little system, i can tell you. but it does have many advantages. If you go through a dealer you get to inspect the car yourself, have an EXTREMELY thorough report and grading to go with it and can specify what you want to pay. Cars here go under the hammer every 20 seconds, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. You will also be able to pick up a car that has SHAKEN, and REGISTRATION included. so just pay the dealer, change the ownership and drive away. Im not sure if Ken mentioned it, but you CANNOT get a car before you have visited the Police AND provided proof of parking. You have to do that before you can even think of driving around. one more thing... ¥40000 yen for a car park? Thats ridiculous. Mines only ¥10000 and im 20 minutes away from shinjuku...

LOL at the photo!!!!!
