  1. Weeeee that was a giggle. Thanks Adam again. Was soooo glad it didn't rain otherwise the ute wouldn't have been that great :3
  2. Thanks guys, my pleasure. Was awesome to get a good group together and actually have somewhere to catch up face to face! See you next time
  3. Yep, same with Super Smash brothers, and Zelda... oooo I love revisiting old games, this is getting me in the mood to dust it off and play.
  4. I don't think there's a single 64 controller that doesn't have a busted joy stick, so how can it not be a rage game? Stupid karts just don't turn like they used to.
  5. Yah the European roads are brilliant quality as well. I drove in a 130 zone at 180 quite a bit of the way from Barcelona through Andorra to Claremont Ferrand, even past cops, and did't once have any trouble. My motorcycle coach was a mechanic for the Repsol Honda Moto GP team for 17 years and they used to speed the massive trucks through the country, get pulled over then bribe the cops with merch lol. Then again my other friend who lives in Barcelona got beat up by the cops in the city. There's always a flip side I guess.
  6. They're hit and miss, I've had things fall apart off eBay defeating the purpose entirely. I was happy to pay for known quality, my music is important.
  7. That would be convenient. With using for phones I don't think my iPhone 1 has ever worked it's bluetooth properly. In the Skyline I had an FM transmitter for $40 from JB that worked perfectly with my iPhone, now I just have a direct Aux cable in the ute. That one could have been designed a little better for handling but does the job.
  8. I was genuinely concerned for the car. I'm not talking about preference, if you bring it out that would be sweet, but we all know not all cops are honest and just because you're driving safe possibly not everyone else will be. All at your own risk and personally I think the risk at this event is a lot higher than most. I'm sure most of us would be happy to see such a refined car on a cruise Edit: Also I have no idea about this permit you speak of, you obviously have a lot of experience in taking the car out and it's relation to the cops. I was just going from what I know.
  9. This probably sounds like jibberish in a car forum but my quick action throttle came today! HOORAY!! And my race glass! YES!! Monday and Tueday are both track days at Phillip Island, 24 and 23 degrees, perrrrrfect. Quick action throttle will be sooo helpful in getting to redline in sixth gear faster. Yes yes yes yes yes.
  10. Will post this on each new page so people don't have to bother searching (can't be that many pages left )
  11. Ah that sucks I was paranoid about mine (would look stupid with short hair) but thought my girlfriends was a good example. The ends are a bit split from having foils done years ago which I know can make a difference but the rest is fine. I guess only time will tell
  12. I understand what you mean, similar to having an expensive car expresses success therefore attractive. If the girl is smart enough to look closer she will realise that wealth isn't in possessions and a lot of monetary wealth is borrowed. This is also personal preference again, for instance none of the above are things to entice me. I would far rather a good frame and clothes that fit well rather than good quality and jewelery. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It just so happens that most girls I know like straight hair and not curly. Like I said, my experience.. not the same for every single girl in the world. You'll find nearly everyone bases initial judgment on appearance. This is why it's so significant. My girlfriend who uses the exact same product from the same salon with curlier hair than mine has been doing it and this is the case. Most likely a different product or bad application. I'm not even going to BEGIN bothering to explain this to you. Especially since you actually think that I wouldn't have factored in these blatant costs to begin with. Time for bed, g'night it's been fun.
  13. Nope, meeting at The Pines car park in Doncaster East (pretty sure it's Doncaster East right?) Can someone please post a GMap link?
  14. Reeeeeally? Interesting, did you go to the same place and did they use the same product? I know that there are a few out there. My girlfriend who recommended it to me has seriously curly hair naturally and she's had hers done perfectly for years. We both went to a place call SUI in the city on Bourke Street
  15. Actually my time is extremely valuable. The more time I spend sleeping in the morning (rather than getting up an hour early to do my hair) the better I perform at my job. The better I perform the more promotions and pay rises I get. And yes like some of the others have pointed out an hour a day is definitely enough time to make some money. FYI my researching was done while staring bored out of my brain into the mirror doing my hair I'm not quite sure what that means.... Hair straighteners are used to improve appearance. The only reason someone would do this is to attract someone else, including the opposite sex. I have found a few of my male friends a lot more attractive after they have straightened their hair. Maybe that's just my taste but if you look around it does seem to be the style at the moment. I appreciate your view on working out as little as dezz, what's wrong with taking care of your diet and health? Most people around are over weight or unfit. Doesn't mean you have to be a Calvin Klein model but taking care of yourself is again more attractive to anyone, male or female, and can also improve mental health. It also displays commitment and determination. Admittedly there is a point where it can go too far and become unattractive but that's down to personal taste and not all people are working out for the image accepted by the majority. As for posting photos on facebook, if you put effort into your body and are proud of it you have every right to show it off. It's the same as posting a photo of your car on this forum. Though I personally I agree that subtly is the best approach. And protein conversations, well it's depending on what kind of person you are and what kind of girl you are trying to attract. That's a pretty narrow group of guys you are referring to and I don't think that relates directly to using a hair straightener. In the end to the best of my knowledge and experience a guy straightening his hair increases his chances of getting laid by a girl. I'm talking about years of hearing various girls judgments on guys appearances. I would think this would be anything but homo.
  16. There are different kinds of chemical straightening. My kind cost me $350, and lasts until it has grown out and cut off. To able to keep it looking spiff I will need to do this once a year for 3 hours. Interesting, you seem to know more than any of these guys about straightening hair. Previously I was straightening once a week for one hour and it was frustrating and I constantly burned my neck and my hair became damaged. This was when I was not exercising. Now that I am working out every day of the week I would need to wash my hair everyday because of the sweating. This extending my shower by 15 minutes, waiting for it to dry then straightening it for 1 hour (or 20 minutes if I decided to buy a GHD = $250) SO! Previously wasting 65 hours a year it would have turned into maximum 375 hours each year (a year being 300 days to allow for lazy days) with current straightener or minimum 174 + $250 with GHD. Meaning that with an approximate on what I am paid, worst case scenario I would spent $3,500 of my time on my hair each year. I have just spent $350 and have the straight hair 365 days a year. Clearly you have mistaken me for a person who does not research something before I decide to implement it. You. Are. A. Homo. ^_^
  17. I have a Babyliss Pro Ceramic, it's about 4 years old and takes about an hour to do all my hair. I thought it was ok until a GHD took me 20 minutes... after learning this I had to do something! It was either $200+ on a GHD or $350 on permanent. Now I don't have to bother straightening at all, don't have to worry about working out every day and sweating in my hair (grose) or going swimming therefore having to spend an hour on it every day. Soooo much better. I have a Babyliss Pro Ceramic, it's about 4 years old and takes about an hour to do all my hair. I thought it was ok until a GHD took me 20 minutes... after learning this I had to do something! Nup, that's hours and hours of hard work. It's thick boofy and only half curly so it never looks good. And to all you lads who say homo to guys straightening their hair: I know a few who do, and trust me after they did I was definitely not thinking 'homo'. I think a females opinion is more relevant in this instance than a males
  18. Not mine anymore but I did take the photo
  19. Chemical straightening, I got it done last night for the first time (glorious, glorious straightening) but it stinks!! In two days I can wash it then this migraine will go away lol
  20. Graeme you're the best. I'm not surprised they're not using it... even our standard demerit point system is bonkers compared to some I've seen in Europe.
  21. Urgh... at work toooooo early, plus couldn't get to sleep last night, plus sick with a cold, plus chemicals in hair (girl thing) are making me headachey. =_=
  22. I was thinking the same thing: 'Why would someone bring a very precious car to a meet where cops are highly likely to show up-him being an obvious target/there's a possibility of at least a couple of nuffies driving like heros aka losers.'
  23. I don't even know what that means...

  25. As if you need to even see the first! I love cars, that's the only reason I'd watch this film. If you asked me to rate it negative stars is an understatement, no plot line merit = no prequel necessary.
