  1. Love the rain! Gutters are f**ked and roof is leaking water into house but still pretty great. Is that an invitation? Just a bit of a girl I guess I let it out when I ride at the Island or Sydney and I can scream in my helmet at the top of my lungs <3 Nothing takes away your problems more than a massive mono or sliding around a corner on your limit. Only one more week then I'm back Urgh. Withdrawals.
  2. Midnight slides and kebabs. Nom. Love this weather.
  3. Oh, and developing a small business
  4. Well I quit my job to go travelling for a few months in the US and Europe, then got back and have basically been training for bike racing next year. Living off savings, fixing up my folks house. Hanging out, playing Nintendo (Baseketball, anyone?). Am gradually looking for work but am very picky because I need lots of time off next year for racing and more os.
  5. If the person knew they had done it and intentionally ignored it then you have a point. But we don't know if that's correct. Maybe they had their earbuds in playing loud music and their dad had just died so they weren't thinking. You just can't make assumptions. Hahaha, actually dude people don't wrong me. That's why I can forgive fools that put me in hospital and take away major parts of my life by almost killing me. I have an incredible family, friends, life, and my mother always taught me forgiveness first and foremost. If that's the definition of a push over then I'm quite happy to be one
  6. Yeah... I know, and I know prodding people of course will get a rise out of them, was well a aware of what reaction there would be everytime I replied. Really need a job or university to attend so that my mental energy can be spent productively
  7. Dude, so much bitterness! My drug being 'not outraged' and 'forgiving' is actually quite a happy peaceful kind where I very rarely waste time and energy feeling pissed off. By the change in your writing I seem to be pissing you off. Chill. Again you're missing obvious factors that you hadn't considered, mainly they involve empathy. I'm bored of this now so won't bother explaining them to you.
  8. Lulz, he posted it on a public forum dude, that makes it whoever wants its business. I don't actually care, if I was this ancy about every little thing I wouldn't get along with anyone or anything. Just extraordinarily bored and all these folks were complaining about lake of waste.
  9. Do you think if they intentionally didn't own up to it they would have left their car next to yours when they had the opportunity to get away so easily by just parking somewhere else? More likely they didn't even realise they had done it and would have been extremely remorseful if they did. I've been hit by cars on my motorcycles all of three times because they were not as observant as they could have been, including one attempting to hit and run. I think this is a little higher on the scale than your experience but none the less, I did not react the way you did and I never will no matter how huge the mistake. Keying someones car isn't going to teach anyone anything, you just wasted your time. I think you know this and did it purely as pay back. You don't actually care about teaching them a lesson (it's obvious this approach is not effective). As if you care about the next person that car parks next to and accidentally knocks. You were vindictive to make yourself feel better. It's amusing to see you are actually proud of being this way. Something thankfully only you are forced to deal with - enjoy.
  10. I fear for your future children. So many things wrong with this. I'm not even going to begin to attempt explaining what you clearly don't and won't see.
  11. Your logic is not logic. You still have a chipped door. Well done.
  12. This. Also, The Warriors, IMDB Link One of my favs.

Spotted [sMW115] at about 4.30 turning off City Road into Power Street. White R33 with stickers.
  14. Check this out guys, predominantly American but incredible all the same. Most Powerful Photos of 2011
  15. Hey John I didn't get a chance to chat to you on the weekend, didn't know you are from the peninsula, where abouts? My fams place is near Flinders. And Birds crowd pleaser class would be awesome. Is there a problem with people voting for themselves if someone hands out the voting cards instead? Therefore no one can get doubles?
  16. If you're not working and not at the beach already, then you're too crazy to join me
  17. Well you could have just said that and saved us all the RSI Sucks to be at work today! Beach is awesome
  18. Hope I can come for a catch up... but probably won't drive as 10pm is usually my bed time
  19. On with the trophies again? I'm obviously not explaining this correctly as I don't really care about the trophy part and can't see where I led you to believe that. Even though it may seem like I'm fighting, I'm actually just trying to provide a view of which some of it may be beneficial for the club. 'Rigged' was just me generalising the many words that were used to describe it I had a fun time too! I'm sure everyone did. I'm just looking at it from a long term growth perspective, that's all. Trying not to come off as a nagging child although understandably suggestions are far easier to make after an event. I have not been to an official event before therefore I had no reference to suggest prior to this one. I would be happy to volunteer, although when I try to provide constructive feedback to a 'Club Executive' it's taken as a complaint. It's a little difficult to want to volunteer when the absolute first step of the whole process, making suggestions as an attendee, is a grueling experience. Not quite sure why I bothered giving a shit
  20. Haha, you ain't seen no chapter writing yet. I'll take his chapter and raise him two This is correct although it doesn't justify accepting the other extreme. I understand people vote for their friends cars and that's cool - it's what you do for a mate. Except if people are standing in a circle discussing and deciding who is going to win (like you said you were) then every year it will be a similar result and every year the people who are not in this group will have a useless vote as they are not the majority. I did not say it should be more about trophies, only less political. Same topic but very different things. If the competition isn't fair then why bother having one? You'd do just as well parking the cars there all day only to look at, it wouldn't make a difference. And trust me, I definitely did not go for the cars. Actually I only went because of my girlfriend, the event conveniently tied in with what we were doing that day. All I'm saying is that it can be better without hurting what's already there. It's a massive shame to come on the forums afterwards and see it as a usual thing for the competition to be 'rigged' and the stigma that goes with it. The fact that it is acknowledged as an every year occurance means that only few new people are attending, because if there were more then the political agenda would be lessened. I would have thought more new people would be a benefit? For sure, people promote anything and everything naturally when they socialise, but it's not our duty and certainly not our responsibility to promote it positively, therefore negative promotion can also occur. Also what is the use of promoting when the attendees at these events are all mates? Obviously the majority of promoting won't get very far, it will just circulate through the already aware. It's not hard to expand the horizons which would create more numbers. Please understand Birds, I'm only going through this because I want the best for the club, that is all.
  21. Agreed, there should be someone on promo handing out flyers and voting cards to random peeps (as well as members being able to vote). The more votes and people hovering, the bigger and better the event. More exposure, more talk, more members. Disagree with this and the general attitude that the possibility of 'bribing'/popularity contest is ok. If no cars show then there's no contest and no club. What would be best for repping the club is if one hundred cars showed up. That's never going to get even close if the contest isn't fair, doesn't matter how insignificant a reason. Personally if I still owned a Skyline I wouldn't bother usng up my time and petrol to enter and be locked into being there all day as the social side can be had else where. Although I would love to promote SAU, it's not my, or any of those drivers responsibilty, so this would not hold me there either. Just my two cents. I think unfairness is a surefire way to eventually stunt (or even kill) a good thing.
  22. Hah, caption writing fail. Whoever wrote that should be fired then slapped.
  23. That's a very good tip thanks man... I wrote my original message while in bed so couldn't have helped.
