I don't agree with the death penalty nor do I wish death upon anyone. Everyone's done something wrong/stupid in their life, but I don't think there is any excuse AT ALL for car thieves and the problem is not enough of them are caught so when something like this happens its probably a lot more glorified than it really should be. I also feel sorry for the families, but I don't feel sorry for the people themselves. They broke the law purposely to benefit themselves at the expense of others. The truck driver now has to live with himself for the rest of his life, and again what they have done has effected someone else not just the original car owner. No one "deserves" to die on this planet, but people certainly push their boundaries thats for sure...

Didn't happen in NSW, but with all the problems going on in Sydney with stolen cars, thought I would post what you can call Karma... I mean, you shouldn't wish death upon anyone, but you sure find it hard to have too much sympathy for these guys..

Hope you have a good stay!! Im sure you'll enjoy any of the bars around Cockle Bay wharf although they can be a bit pricey. Bif of advice: Toldshed isn't a hardware store

I actually looked at Just Jap on Saturday for one. They seem like a pretty good idea apparently arent too hard to fit. For $100 its a pretty good investment. But yes, as BLK180 said it will stick out further. I'd say somewhere around 5 cms or just a touch over closer to you.

I agree with the fact she shouldn't of been charged. It was quite clearly an accident (Based on the evidence and story provided). I remember when this event happened amd its funny how people dont even know the story and choose to comment that she should be locked away. She was learning FFS... And no I dont think you would of been treated any differently if you were in a Skyline on your L's. I'd say you are a complete dropkick for saying that just because she had an accident. How would you react if someone grabbed the steering wheel off you, never mind someone learning that's had minimal experience and would have freaked out when this happened... I agree with everyone else that there should be tighter control from the RTA as to how people can get their L's. At the same time, it's the first time I've heard an incident like this happen.

Absolute Bullshit.... How can someone possibly have the balls to nick something from outside your shop. Thats just Flucking insane! Sorry to hear guys and I pray that a good ending comes of this... To be honest, people who do this have no respect for people so why should we have any kind of respect to them. I hope they get everything they deserve + more..

I saw an insane blue R32 GTR out Liverpool way on Saturday morning. Had some sort of stripe down the side and 19 inch rims. Could of easily been a show car it was that tidy. Missed the plate though Also spotted SPO-01S at JEM Saturday morning..

Thats gold... People in this day and age are only getting bigger. As mentioned, the early commodores aren't the most comfortable in the world. Its quite obvious that the companies that build such big cars these days aren't worries about the weight nor size of the car, as they are taking the comforts of the people buying them as a first priority. You have to remember also, most models are general company cars or the owners have bought it just because its big and it has room for the family + luggage + the dog. The engines they use are certainly big enough to push these cars around. Mcdonalds is a good example. The sizes of their meals in the USA are huge because people demand more food. They aren't going to make the meals smaller & hope that people lose weight so that they can make smaller meals. The same thing can be said about cars. People want bigger cars as the need is for more room & luggage space. If it wasn't the case, they wouldn't go any bigger. Their sales prove there obviously isn't anything wrong with what they're doing... Its like comparing a BMW 1200 Touring Bike to a GSXR600. The GSXR is lighter, quicker, smaller engine. Not a bad performance bike at all. The BMW sports shit loads more options & luxuries whilst being able to be a lot more comfortable on any sort of trip. The curb weight indicates you're getting a lot more bike. As you said in your post, the only reason people do do it is so that they can feel better about themselves and what they like, without taking into account all of the other different factors that someone would have chosen the completely opposite vehicle, and then, be as happy, if not happier than the other person. Its all about bringing the other person down & stereotyping. Calling people bogans because they drive Commodores is a perfect example of it. People just cant get on with their life and accept their are two sides to a coin...

I know there is probably more HICAS related threads in here than anything else but I think I have come up with a new problem. My HICAS light comes on only at certain times. It will come on only if I am sitting steady on a decent speed (around 100km/hr or so) it will come on within half an hour of coasting at this speed (highway). I could drive around non stop all day at 50/60km and it would never happen. Anyone ever experienced this? Cheers...

Security Parking has one for $4 all day. Problem is you dont think its going to happen, especially when you are only gone for 5 minutes. I'm so pedantic these days. I dont park it in there regardless and if im on the way home etc I dont turn into my driveway unless there's no one in the street. Its crazy how bad its gone. Pete, sad to hear about this mate. I hope everything works out for ya. If you need a hand with anything give us a call
