  1. I'm not sure of that they won't be dead also. It's acutually not my car. It's a mates. I'm just helping him out. It was just esaier to write this thead in the first person than 3rd. My gtr's still fine. But yes you are absolutly right and i will be checking them. He said he shut it down as soon as the light came on but I'm not confident that they'll be ok. I just don't wanna break his heart just yet.
  2. thanks for that mate. The pump has died. That why i'm changin it out. Best i get started on that subframe then. lol.
  3. Ok now the pulleys off. Does anyone know if ya have to remove the sump to remove the oil pump from the crank or once the pulleys gone should it slide off without removing the sump . It's looking like the sump's gotta come out at the monent but that seens like a whole lot of work. Just thought i'd ask befor i get the shits and start pullin the motor out.
  4. I was never actually planing on drilling it. And i think Godzilla32 was a little confused. It's all good. It's off now and i'll be able to use it again. A tiny bit of heat is a amazing tool. Thanks for everyones help.
  5. Na na. we a talking about the Timing belt pulley, sits behind the ballancer. Different components alltogether. The s15's are fun to.
  6. Thanks everybody It's all off now. little bit of heat, a heap of wd40 and a cole chizle between the pump and pulley slipped right off. I'll be sure to slap some anti sieze in there befor it goes back on. Cheers Coop
  7. Thanks I know a bit about the drive and i know there are different size drives but i'll cross that bridge when i get there. Cheers
  8. I don't know mate. I haven't got that far into yet. I got it to move about a mil but has stopped again. And i've run out of acetelene. It's comin but.
  9. Thanks DVS32R. I might put some heat on it to. I'm not concerned about the oil pump seal cause it's dead.
  10. Ok. just found out there should be 2, 10mm holes in it to attach a puller to but either mine doesn't have one or somebody has put it on backwards. I'm stumped.??????
  11. Motor's in the car. But there is no room to fit the puller legs behind the pully. I just want it off so i can get the pump out. The workshop manual shows it just sliding off but it seems a little tighter than that.
  12. So i'm puttin a N1 pump into my 32 GTR and i can't figure out how to get the timing belt pulley off the crank shaft. Doesn't look like ya can get a puller on it and I think heating it with oxy is a little extreme just now. Anyway, any advice would be awesome. Thanks Coop I've searched about 40 pages and can't find anyting on this so sorry if yous have covered this one befor.
  13. Hey mate. Any Chance ya could send the cage up to Townsville and if so could ya get a price for postage. If all the bars are dismantled and rapped together do you think it would be overly bulky? I'm keen if the postage isn't too much. Thanks
