  1. Me and my EL2 had a moment. We accidently caught eye's, and I gave her a quick raise of my eyebrowe. I'M SUCH AN IDIOT! For that one moment I thought I was at academy.. off tap! I am so fired.
  2. Shortly followed by Degrassi Jnr. High.. Joey Jeremiah.. How I wish I was a rebel like him. Mmmm! Lara...! Didn't her and Drazic get married at the end.. he always had his blades, and was the first person I saw with their eyebrowe pierced.
  3. I remember when Alex Mack was my primary school crush.. I loved her! I'd race back home and watch the show.
  4. I guess its not THAT bad.. it's not the grand canyon or anything, but in the installation guide that I downloaded (it didn't come with one, or the instructions, but readily available on the internet), it pointed out that a plate should be included for the installation in NISSAN cars. Now I'm just interested in what difference it could make! http://www.jvc.co.uk/files/instruction_man...vt1468-006a.pdf
  5. I'm not really an expert in car audio.. but, my mate and I went down to JB and had a gander. I ended leaving with: JL Splits (front) Alpine mono-block amp 12" pioneer sub w/ box (looking into making custom box - eventually) Wiring kit and the JVC double din unit. All for around $1600, initially it was $1800. A few people have criticised me for not staying with the one brand, but in the end they all complimented each other and works well. Both budget and performance came into play (in that particular order), and so far I'm pretty stoked at the quality sound that's coming out. The rear speakers were replaced with some older JL's, nothing fancy. So I'm assuming with some better speakers at the rear that, compliment the setup, it should be pretty sweeeet!
  6. I've got a 12" pioneer sub, running off an alpine mono block amp.. with a pair of JL splits at the front and standard rear speakers. Its sounds pretty decent.. although wouldnt mind hearing how it'd all go with decent rear speakers. but the quality and sound is awesome. i bought my setup, w/ wiring, for $1600 The screen quality is great! Although I havent really seen any others, but during the day when I'm driving.. and I glance down at it, I can see the foo fighters rockin out pretty well. I guess the cons of it are that you cant detach the face.. and passengers dont understand how new it is and they keep touching it and don't get that I'm still in the paranoia stage where a finger smudge will elssen the life of the screen.. hahah.. idiots! I haven't come across any flaws as yet.. but, for the price I got it for.. I don't think I can complain!
  7. Haha..! I just got mine.. I got mine for about $650 because it was the last working sample.. the plate is missing, but so far so good.
  8. The face plate as in.... not the TV itself.. that came totally intact. But the plate that will go around the actual unit that will hide the gap between the dash and the unit itself. if ya get what I mean? (I got it for the price I did because it was the working sample at JB, and the last one there. A small price to pay for over 50% off!)
  9. Hey guys! I recently purchased this.. ..for a killer price $650+/- Unfortunately, the face plate wasn't included. Would anyone have any info on where I could be able to purchase a replacement generic plate?
  10. You know WHAT really grinds my gears? When people kill a conversation with a meaningless swipe of the keyboard. *evil glare*
  11. Ahh man! REALLY! I'm not gonna be able to make it! THat's insane, it would an incredible sight.
  12. I spotted a Sigma stall after the pedestrian crossing in the Canberra Centre. I laughed.
  13. My EL2 is hot.. I perve on her all day. I think it's the whole power thing. I wouldn't mind working directly below her. *high 5!* (scrubs) I'm picky about my public toilet craps. I'd walk up to the 7th floor of our building to get a nice cubicle with no one in it. I usually head to David Jones toilet's when I'm in Woden. Splendid! If you watch the sales assistants as you head towards the toilets, you can see them glaring at you, coz they know what you're here for.. OHH YEAH! You know what really grinds my gears? Protein shakes. No matter how much "research" they put into it, they still manage to taste like poo. Soo much toilet talk here!
  14. Sounds good! i know a mate who is looking to buy a Subaru, but not sure on what type. Will keep in touch!
  15. You could configure the posts so you're number 1 on page 79. hahah! But you are number.. by default.
  16. I could be. 50/50! My itinerary is still up in the air.
  17. Yeah, I was pondering if there was actually a way to figure out if they're able to trace exactly who came up with it, and see if it is copyrighted.. if not, SHOTGUN! I hope I answered all of Ash's questions.. tho I haven't had any bad news. I even got 2rismo's approval! Yesssss!!! *elbow pump* Thanks for the prices! I also did a few phone calls at work today and they gave the same sort of figure. I'll definitely be updating.
  18. ..and baby, if you're reading, please don't scratch my car. You're a good kid.
  19. I hate people who sit on the right lane. ie, my girlfriend.
  20. r34 - again - heading up tharwa drive, calwell/theodore 5:15 this arvo. Again, on a bus.
  21. Oh no. Are you serious?! That whole hour in front of illustrator, and I could have just traced it from that!? Has that been your avatar for awhile? For one second I thought I started an evolution, but was sadly beaten. By CHROME.
  22. Hey Ash, Yeah! I understand completely. I actually signed up as "kabala", sometime in December, then wanted to change my name as at the time I didn't know how to without changing my account, but the further I delved and navigated my way through the support links.. I found a way to do it - too late. I haven't actually made ANY tshirts, I've only made the avatar that you see next to my name only less than a week ago, and that's just been photoshopped onto 2 pics I pulled off the net. 1. I guess I was advertising the possibility of a new SAU shirt. I know how much screen printing costs, and it wouldn't be worth doing 4, and it's definitely cheaper in bulk. I just wanted to generate some sort of interest and hopefully enough numbers to make them in bulk. Which leads me to numero dos.. 2. I wish I was a business. But I'm not.. but if I was, I'd have some sort of link to my .com, but I don't. I'm a 21 y/o public servant with too much time on my hands. The tshirt concept, was something that me and a mate wanted on our OWN tshirts, but more people liked the logo when they saw my avatar (sau/msn), so we thought perhaps if there was enough interest we could make them in bulk and any profits could go towards SAU/SAUACT (ie. a marquee/banner for ACTSAU, donations, web maintainence, stickers etc..). But that was something later on down the track, we weren't thinking about that just yet until the idea was set in concrete. In the original post (ACT) you can see that I noted that it was something that would "probably happen a little further down the road, I still gotta research how much it would cost and what not..". I never took any deposits or gave anyone a price, just wanted to see if there was any interest. I also Pm'd 2rismo asking him to have a look at it. I was trying to look for a merchandise link here, but it was pretty difficult to navigate my way around here. Anyway, I hope this has answered any queries that you and anyone else may have. I love my skylines and the tshirt idea is something that, I hope, will inevidably assist SAU for the future. I'm more than happy, if this is given the go ahead, to hand over my "ownership" of the logo so SAU can manage and use it accordingly for merchandise, advertising etc.. (at no cost, or course smile.gif) I hope this answers some and more, for further info, PM or post a comment! More than happy to clear things up. Cheers! Karl.
