cheers, I was just stressed about how strong they would be last thing i want is for them to snap and then the fan ends up as some new undiscribed part of my susspension . as for the thickness its about 60 mm but its kinda cone shappedwith the thickest part right in the middle of the dc fan motor (@ 60mm) and the outer edge being the thinest (@ 40mm) iether way im sure it will work as it will sit flush with the radiator. bigkevracer thanks mate ill sus those brackets out as well I think.

so i purchased a low profile 12 inch thermo fan off ebay, to make space for my intercooler. It looks "ok".... nothing to special. the mounting instructions are what gets me, ive never seen any thing like it. Basically they give you four long flexible "nylon bolts" they call it.... and tell you to leaver your radiator fins open with a screw driver and push these long nylon bolts directly through the radiator fins. and slip this plastic nut over the back of it to hold it in place. lol.... i dunno about you guys but it all sounds a bit suspect? any one heard of such a thing?

not sure about the dump yet just need to get it running first lol... and im running out of time before i leave. But once i get started there wont be any thing holding me back. I just need a good base to start from. and then ill tinker a bit more. are you willing to sell your old stock turbo housing at all? that way i can get that sent to hyper gear and get it rebuilt and sent up here and swapped out with my old one and ill put my old one up on here for sale as a donar.

Maybe itll be easier to get the turbo swapped over and other goodies fitted drive it down to melbourne for a weekend and get e-manage installed and dyno'd. Mate if possible can you pm me with what i need to order for the emanage ultimate (harness etc) also a price to fit it. I was planning to pack and send the car to WA where im moving in 4 weeks but i guess ill just drive it once its installed and sorted. what a way to take it for a test drive ey? Hey mate, Yeah i havn't even looked into it that far yet Ive sent them an email asking what they could recomend and ill see what comes back I guess. Yeah i was the first S1 to be fitted by Cihan back in the day with Greddy Emanage Ultimate (1 small step for SAU Kind lol) and i would prefer he did this car too but as i am in NSW and he is in Melbourne im in a bit of a pickle and have to look at other options i guess. I did send Cihan an email but have not since heard back from him, Maybe he is a little flat out. I'm willing to guiny pig the ricewagon but yeah i need more information whats the issues you mentioned before about "Do they have the ecu pinouts yet? What do they plan to do with the electronic throttle and cams"

Yes its been awhile since ive been on here... Turbo went pop the other week now all i have is a loud gushing whistle with no boost. Im going to be getting the turbo pulled out and hi-flowed by hyper gear, when i get it back ill be throwing in 4 mods FMIC - HDI GT2 Boost controller - Gizzmo IEBC Tunable ECU - possibly Microtech Coilovers - ??? Im in Hunter Valley NSW and im pretty limited to where I can take the car to get it fitted with ECU and Dyno'd I was thinking blacktrack in Thornton as they are the only ones i know of with a AWD dyno. They are a Microtech dealer so my question is has any one got a Microtech fitted to thier M35 yet? is it worth giving it ago? has it been failed already? any input would be greatly appreciated Cheers guys.

I can safely say i purchaced one off chris's and his gear is the ultimate. Id gladly pay the 300 more and have someone talk me through the install over the phone in an hour. Also the pad controls just fit onto the factory screw holes no mods needed. No disrespect to commsman. And the cruise just works at any speed above 40kms on the dash wich is really like 30kms lol. All up to personal preference but i think a third stalk would look average in a classy interior. Again no disrespect.

hhrrmm a cruise up to st clare would be a half dcent day any of you guys keen to get some pics of your cars? I got a mate that wants to get into car shoots, he currently does weddings. Has a fantastic eye for it and a very expensive camera.

Well you can have the front bar but its still going to cost $500 and the rest of the kit you can give away for free? Lol. Sorry guys but I dont own a series one any more hense no need for the kit. Thats why i am only selling it for $500 for a factory plastic kit. im relocating my house to hunter valley and im not paying for my relocation so it doesnt bother me if the kit travels with me, im sure the nsw boys will snap it up in no time.
