  1. Any update on this? Has anyone got their chamois yet?
  2. There was a group buy on here not long ago for QFM pads, not sure if its still going though.
  3. Have you considered QFM brakes? I hear good things from them... made by the same guy who did bendix brakes... and at about $85 per pair Also motul RBR600 (or something like that) will be good - it is dot 4. And finally, nismo braided lines are not ADR approved, which means if you are buying these for a street car you can get defected for them and if you are involded in an accident your insurance may be voided. You can buy ADR approved braided lines for less than nismo items anyway... and all braided lines do is increase pedal feel, they do not directly make you car brake harder.
  4. Hey guys just installed some whiteline extra heavy duty sway bars to my GTT and just wanted to say they are awesome. Before the install only had tanabe coilovers, which did a decent job in corners but used to get a lot over oversteer, but now the car is a lot flatter and handles like a dream through the tight twisties For anyone thinking of getting some sway bars i'd definetly say "do it!!", by far the best handling mod i've ever done. Cheers
  5. Is it me or is there a lot of stag's getting around these days. Driving from norwood to south road last night at 7ish saw one and then on the way back about 10.30 saw two of them. Its like a station-wagon invasion About a year ago there were only a handful now there seems to be a whole flock.... not saying that their crap or anything, just stating the obvious
  6. That's true... and as with and car mod/upgrade/whatever, you get what you pay for. The jjr one might be good for a VERY mild street car but when you start doing upgrades to your car and start putting more boost through it, you'll start noticing problems with leakages through crappy welds, etc. Do things right the first time with mods and you'll save yourself a fortune
  7. Yep they are the right ones. Just ordered some QFM pads and they are the part numbers they use also.
  8. Yeah go to the office of consumer and business affairs and lodge a complaint against the company that did your exhaust. Tell them the story and they will do an investigation.
  9. Cool, thanks for all the suggestions guys. Will be trying these on the weekend. Cheers
  10. Can anyone tell me how to bleed the brake lines or the brake system? I've read through all the tutorials and they all say "bleed as per standard procedure" or something like that, but no-one actually says how to bleed them. I'm in the process of changing my brakes myself as i am a bit short on funds (due to some stupidly expensive upgrades) and thought i'd do a system flush at the same time so any information here would be good.
  11. I have been running my stock turbo for the last 6 months on my 34 on 12psi. The tuner even asked if i wanted it tuned to 14 but i said no, as i didn't have the funds to replace a turbo if it went and felt that 12 would be a bit safer.... have a few supporting mods though like FMIC, fuel pump, injectors, etc.
  12. I third it for the bosimporting dump!!! Have one on my 34 also and can vouch for the quality.
  13. Spotted HESLO's 33GTR this morning in norwood. Nice car bud
  14. If your alarm is a couple of years old, my money's on that. Had this happen to me in the old VR commowhore, took it to an auto electrician and he said straight up that its the alarm siren and he took it out straight away. Also said that they remove about 20 of them a week so not an uncommon problem...
  15. Shot-gun front half cut!! Wouldn't mind dropping that massive beast engine in the 34 lol.
  16. pretty sure you can only get a CAMS license if you join one of these affiliated clubs: http://www.cams.com.au/content.asp?PageID=Clubs - select SA from the drop down tab and it will give you a list of clubs that are associated with CAMS.
  17. Wouldn't have a clue mate. Think we have different laws here in SA to Vic.
  18. So its $235 to join the club and $95 for a CAMS license? So you don't have to actually be involved in meetings and such but you can join the track days and allows participation in events hosted by them?
  19. Yeah been having a serious look at them, they seem to be very well organised with all types or motorsports covered there.
  20. Hey guys been looking at few car clubs around adelaide with the intent of doing a bit of track work and wondering if anyone is a member of any clubs such as sportingcarclubsa.org.au or nissandatsuncarclubsa.com, or on a national scale nissansportscarclub.org. I know that sausa have been trying to organise a cams affiliated club and i don't want to tread on anyone's toes but doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon and i really would like to get some track time experience... seems like all this building up of my car has to go towards something Your help would be greatly appreciated.
  21. Ok guys here are the pics of it installed. Haven't fully lined it up properly but this is pretty much how it will fit. Hope this helps
  22. Actually already have got it and installed but can take pics of it in if you'd like.
