Havent had a chance to check the condition of the fuel pump yet, sorry mate. The tank is out at the moment though, so I'll look at it this weekend. $150 would be about the right price for the part, postage I'll have to find out for you. -

Bump. -
I don't like the chances of an SR20 being able to move that weight around too quickly... LOL Whoever made it did a pretty convincing job in photoshop

You won't be getting anyone making offers without pictures at least buddy.

Were those photos taken in woronora? I never realised how good the backdrop is there until I've seen it in these photos, and I'm down there every 2nd weekend dropping my boat in at that ramp.

Sex on wheels. Screw any Nissan, I'd take that over it any day.

Mate I can honestly say I have never raced someone on the streets. Have I sped before? Yep, but nothing like the scenario suggested on local streets. The point of the story is, that the original poster has posted this message of don't race on the streets, and clearly by some of his other posts, has not taken his own advice. We cop a bad wrap from the cops and general public, based purely on the cars we drive. It's incidents like these that give them good reason to give us a bad wrap. -
It's to make everyone look at the other cars at the show and go damn this is nice, compared to that ugly POS delorean.

Thats like saying we're all road users whether you like it or not, even if we break the law repeatedly and have been fortunate enough not to get caught yet. Unfortunately alot of street racers get taken off the road when its too late, this is a good example of that. I have no problems with people enjoying their cars, we all love them or we wouldn't be here, however we have a responsibility to everyone around us to use them responsibly. Unfortunately its incidents like this that tear apart families, kill innocent people, give creedance to the skyline stereotypes, raise our insurance premiums etc etc. Save the racing for the strip or track, and maybe incidents like these can be avoided and the roads can be safer for all of us. -

Every seat in the car can be salvaged, I removed them yesterday and cleaned them, came up pretty much spotless. Will post pictures later. -

These "skyline enthusiasts" are the ones that give the rest of us a bad name. Street race and you're a bloody moron. While its sad to see someone lose their life so needlessly, I really don't have any sympathy for anyone who can be so wreckless and put innocent bystanders in danger for a little adrenaline rush. -
Oven cleaner, then Brasso if you just want to use stuff from home.

$9744 is more than $1022 I think you mean $974. Did you check the term that they calculated the repayments on? St George may be 36 months. HSBC may be 38 or so. -

Gearbox is in good condition, was tight and driven on an unmodified car up until a month ago (until listed mods). 50,000kms on it. $1400 would be a fair price I imagine. -

Flat battery at the moment, will be getting a new battery to test it out over the next 2 or 3 days. General condition of the engine bay is as it was before the crash though, so I cannot see any reason as to why it wouldn't start. -

ATTENTION CHANGES AS AT 25th July 2007 I still haven't had the opportunity to get all these parts to the wreckers. However, I will be happy for someone to take the lot if they want. I am willing to sell the whole lot for anyone who wants to come to the table with an offer. It includes the entire interior (minus instrument cluster) all in good condition. Diff Head Block (2 bent rods) Radiator FR headlight FR guard Fuel tank with fuel pump Suspension plus heaps more. Will accept offers over $700 Everything is gone except for the seats and the block (with two bent rods). I will take $200 for the seats, make an offer on the block (around $100). Do not bother asking me for anything else, I do not have anything else left, sorry I cannot help you.
