Hi all, I need to source the following parts, and any assistance would be appreciated; 1. Windscreen..are these stocked by conventional suppliers like o'briens, or do I have to go to Nissan? Any idea on prices inc fitting? 2. Rhs coupe window winds down but sticks. Is this likely the regulator motor or actuator? Any way to tell? Any leads on best place to source such parts from?....eBay us I guess? Cheers, J

For sale is my now arrived V35 Skyline 350GT coupe It's the 2004 70th anniversary limited edition model - has all the desirable features you could want in a V35, including 6spd manual, black duco, sunroof, brembos, and the full (not half) leather. probably only one or two in Oz for sale with these specs, and I will bet they're asking a fair whack more. Factory features: Dual Climate Control Full Cream Leather Interior Air Ioniser (Filter) Heated Seats Sun Roof Premium Bose 8 Speaker Sound System Automatic Headlights Pop-up 7" LCD screen (Displays mileage and other statistics, with a TV Tuner, local channels can be received) Steering wheel volume control (needs to be hooked up) Sequential Sports Shift (ok, so I copied all that from another ad). It is essentially stock. Has 110K klms, but I've been importing cars for 15 years, and those who think that the proliferation of cars (such as V35) on the market all with between 40 - 75K klms is a coincidence, or reflects what they hope is genuinely low mileage - are just kidding themselves. At least with my car, you're not paying to have the speedo wound back. You're getting what you pay for. It is mechanically sound, and neat and clean, but at this price it does have some things requiring attention to detail. FOr instance, drivers window occasionally gets stuck. Those who know V35 know that this is not only common, but the fix can be exxy, or done cheap (and well) - depending upon how you go about it. Leather drivers seat is as expected for a car of this age. Otherwise stock. Had a clutch replacement (cost $800 I think) about 2 years ago. Also has an aftermarket immobiliser. Now - here's the kicker. I can sell this with RWC and rego, or with RWC only, or simply complied with no RWC. Better yet, anyone taking it off my hands right now (it will pass compliance, and I will guarantee this in writing) will get it at an even better price, simply because; a. I dont have to stuff around with it - saves my time, and b. They can choose to do fixes and mods to suit their own tastes and budget. for instance, I will fit 18" tyres for compliance, the buyer might want to go straight to 19's and therein save themselves some money. If it sells now pre-compliance, I will do this for $15990 as it sits. Otherwise, complied and RWC, I will be asking $19900. My 2004 Nissan Patrol, LOCATION VICTORIA > EASTERN SUBURBS > CROYDON with the following specs; * 3ltr turbo diesel * 5spd * ST-L model - hence dual climate control, full leather, etc etc * Interior is basically completely as new - seats look unused * Exterior - the paint is brilliant. Crimson metallic red with flake. Rare colour, looks sensational * Mechanically - very robust. Just had check up. Needs tyres and brake fluid only Also has: * Hayman Reece towbar * Nissan Snorkel * Nissan alloy side steps * Nissan wind splitter * Nissan bull bar Car has very low mileage - 101K. Compare this to others. The ST-L is a sought after model, and there are few GU III's in TD with 5spd - the closest on carsales to mine is asking $30K I am asking $24900 with RWC Car has had a RWC check up, and needs minor work, including brake fluid, 2 tyres, minor electricals, and rust to be scraped off the underbody. Note that this rust is not visible to the eye, and has not penetrated metal, but needs a solid effort with a wire brush and then the application of oil. Likely about $1200 in labour. Am happy to sell as is for $22500. Will also consider swaps or trades - but MUST BE for smaller vehicles, which will fit in my apartment car space now that I am in Melbourne CBD. Happy to pay $$ upwards if need be, or take a cheaper trade. Nothing too modded or too old. Would consider R33 GTR, V35, Supra TT, etc - please PM me for these rather than bumping my thread with questions.

not wrong. I can only see 4 on carsales - from one end of Aus to the other. seems whilst V35 are pretty common, the 6spd full leather version is quite rare. Sadly, none in black which is what I'm really after. Good luck with the sale - v.cheap, and the wheels set it off nicely.

dont know if we can or should be asking that.... But one thing I am interested in knowing....what is the approximate cost of the options the new buyer for such a car has, in other words; a. cost of finding a used RB26 sitting around, and swapping this in - factoring in all costs including money made from the dead block and b. cost of simply re-building the RB26 already in it - from the ground up Am I right in guessing about $6K the first option, and $10K the second option?

Hi Guys, I have not been on the forums for a long time. I also have not been in the import scene for a while (driving VE HSV Senator atm) - and I was thinking - maybe I should get myself an R33 GTR V-Spec (had a few in my time). What I noticed is......why are there basically no late models of some of these imports any more? To explain myself - there are; * only 2 R33 GTR for sale on carsales which are 1997 - 1998 models. Only 1 Series 3 in Australia? What the? * only 4 R32 GTR V-Specs for sale on carsales. (even post 97 RZ Supras seem to be rare?!?!) there used to be lots of them! where are they now? have they been run off a cliff? set on fire? or is nobody selling for some strange reason? or did it have something to do with the tsunami washing cars away and destroying the japanese re-sale market (pardon my ignorance, but I have no idea why there are so few...even though there are no end of Skylines in general). Given the lack of choice locally - and I can't even see them on the forums for sale here - perhaps I should just import one? Can anyone tell me what the likely selling price (FOB) for a Grade 4 to 4.5 A or B would be for either a; 94 R32 V-Spec 2, or a 97-98 R33 GTR V-Spec perhaps importing is a better way to go if there are none suitable here....

no, RWC is valid by dates, not by the number of times it is used. in fact, this is the same in Qld as well - I just sold a V35 on the same RWC (safety certificate) as I used to rego it (which the next person also used to rego it). as long as it was within 30 days (or 500klms or something like that)

hi mate - just a quick question...as you are the owner of this car, didn't you need a RWC to transfer it into your name anyway? In which case, the RWC you used should still be valid and the new owner won't need to get one. Just a thought as it may save yourself or the next owner some $$$

Hi Guys, Did a quick search, and checked back over the last 6-7 pages, and found nothing, so don't flame up for me posting this but....... can anyone recommend compliance centres for an R33 GTR Series 2 around Brissie? price - address - name - contact details - etc would all be appreciated. I'm assuming $3000 to fully comply an R33 GTR Series 2, possibly a $1K deposit and tyres will be extra? I've also heard that is necessary to install an immobiliser during compliance - does anyone know if this is correct? Cheers, Foibles

Hi there, I am wanting to swap one of my cars for an R33 GTST, which should be along the following lines; * cheap as chips, so probably likely to be a 93/94 * 5spd manual * must be mechanically excellent - don't care if it is modified or not * interior does not matter, the better it is - great, but not too fussed if seats, etc are up the shi**er * bodwork can be pretty poor but no rust. ideally ( long shot here....) something with very bad paint, and broken or no bodykit at all. * Stock wheels with cr*p tyres are OK * No RWC or rego is needed – car would be getting fixed for some months so rego would be a waste In other words, I have a full R33 bodykit and tins of Dupont 600 paint, as well as a set of 18” rims sitting around. Rather than try to sell these at low prices, I would rather swap for someone’s neglected R33 that they may no longer be interested in, and in return swap for something else like a 300ZX, RX7, Celsior or Surf. Happy to make a cash adjustment either way. Location = hobart but happy to consider and facilitate interstate EOI's.
