It would make more sense if the car owners used their own initiative - regardless of the HID fitment or not. I think they're based in Canada too.. I reckon get the Pajero out and get some shots of the light beams down a long, flat, straight road. Interested nonetheless.

Terry I wouldn't read into Today Tonight's article with to much consideration. TT and ACA are the leaders of obscuring viewer perception.. they're constantly skating across the lines of incorrect delivery of Current affairs. --- I have heard of this sort of thing happening. But one thought; If they're allegedly topping up their petrol reserves with water - who's not going to see this happening? Every time I've seen these large tankers come into the servo, they take up a large space generally around the front where everybody pulls in to fill up and the put that huge piping thing into the ground and fill up the service station's supply. So to fill their reserve up with some water, thing only realistic way of doing this quickly would be to get a water tank mounted on a truck to come in a do the same as the petrol tanker. maybe a hose but would it look a bit wierd with a big open hatch a garden hose or the sort sitting in there And a again.. Gasoline and Water are immiscible liquids. They won't mix. Since the Water is a more dense liquid - all the water would go to the bottom! So when the reserve got to its lower point - someone could possibly cop a tank a water. I really don't see this sort of thing happening very successfully if at all..

Hey mate i've been replacing my steering wheel just as of late. For one, I'd be unsure whether the wheel would actually fit on.. What I do know is the airbag actuator will be different and I can guarantee your airbag module itself will be different rendering it extremely hard/impossible to try and modify successfully. I've also been told all 3 series of steering wheels are all different to each other on the R33 GTRs. I have heard of somebody fitting the Series 2 wheel onto the Series one, I believe a couple of holes had to be drilled and the Series 1 Airbag module and Actuator were used. The Airbag plugs were swapped and yeah.. Big job. These Airbag systems were designed to save lives with their original design, I reckon just leave them - or get your wheel re trimmed Don't risk your safety mate for the looks mate - leave that to Holden drivers. There was another thread around here about Mark converting his GTR... yeah they look good - if you're able to buy a kit specifically for the skylines that would definitely be a juicy option. If it is liquid injection its obviously in a thicker form (as well as full time injection cycles) resulting in more LPG being burnt - I wonder how much mileage you would get in relation to unleaded?

Hey Jase 1. If you have squizz sort of behind the airbox, it's the nut that goes through the plastics hole and screws into the Engine Bay wall. Yes, all of the Bolt' are missing. I believe there's 4 from memory?? 2. This is one of the smaller issues I've got to pick with this Mechanic.. Logistically it's just easier to pick up some more as the hardware stores on the way to work. Thanks for your help bud can we confirm this??

Hey guys I'm looking to find out the bolt size that secures my Factory Airbox to the Engine Bay. The Car has come back from the Mechanic with Bolts missing R33 Series 1.5 If that helps Cheers

Terry I think it's more the way person drives their car that gives off a particular perception to bystanders. Does the Average Joe Blow know the difference? Not a chance... both the Hoon and the Enthusiast have an exhaust - whats the difference. Well a lot, but how can you tell from the side of the road? I think it comes back to why the bloke has bought a Skyline (in this example) in the first place. I personally know a couple of guys that have bought these sport car's to fill a void that they feel they have. They don't tell me this, although its more than obvious. This is where you'll get the guy cruising up and down a south bank strip at a ridiculous speed over and over and over again.. I know this dude that has a red skyline 350gt, he uses that as his point of pulling Women..I can tell you now a lot of girls I know will laugh/shake their head if a dude screams past in a Skyline, Silvia or has loud music on etc. To the more trained eye, you can tell whether these modifications are of any benefit or to a particular style. 3 Main factors - Age of Driver, Sorts of Modifications & additions, Driving style.
