  4. interesting all rb26's i know of in perth are running between 8500 and 9500rpm.i have reved my last motor to10 000 by mistake twice but not something i would do on a regular event.gtr 700 revs to13000 rpm and have footage on there site showing it launch at this rpm well woth a look.

  6. ihave the same coil overs and the same problem.I've been led to believe that the coils are about 900 pounds and for australia they should be 500 pounds rear and 350 fronts but have not tried this yet.

  9. be careful i work in this area and all police have now been issued with light meters to stop this growing trend, and yellow stickers are being given out in large numbers. Some skylines all ready have a slight tint in the glass and when a 35 density(legal) film is applied it already makes this film to dark after all this gts window tint is a good car tinter and his name is gary.Good luck.

  12. Hey guys, just a small thank you to Anthony and Steve for all there work and assistance today, and a small reminder to everyone to be very careful of the shops they let work on there pride and joy, some shops will make all the promises, take lots of money from you and destroy every thing you worked so hard to build.
  13. Well the decision has been made something is not right in the motor and we are going to pull it down and check whats happening.Since picking the motor up from the last so called performance workshop the motor only had 90psi combustion presure and the assumption was made that this would increase once the motor was started but this was not to be the case. Will keep you all posted but it look's like were starting from scratch again, here's hoping it will only take a few weeks to rebuild and will be back on the track soon.
  14. I think Anth and myself are both aiming a little higher than 600rwhp,we both have standard cranks with lots of work been done to them and yes this is the weak point in both motors as all other parts have beem replaced.we do not see this as a major problem as there are many cars over east with high hp built on standard cranks, without failure,we may be wrong but only time will tell.As for check book racing all forms of racing cost lots of money, time ,effort and sacrifice by all involved, now lets thrash them and have some fun.
  15. Will see you all on the 7th and yes the dog box is a little loud but can't change that will just have to coast past any police i happen to encounter. PS wont have final tune so wont be on the dyno but will bring it down for a drive.
  16. i finally have my car up and running, with some more tunning it should be at the next event.Hope to be at the plex soon. :blast:
  17. we used jun camshafts in a race car and broke through the hardening after one race went back to dealer and was told it was an oil feed problem checked feed put in new cam shaft and failed before we finished dyno runs, pulled cam out fitted australian cam shaft and have never had aproblem.Had jun cams checked and was told that hardening was not finished properly and JUN dealer just said not his problem and has made no attempt to repay cost of failed cams or labor tracking down problem.i personally would recommend you spend you money on other brands that will stand behind there products.
  18. YES good effort Paul thats orsum and congradulations to Steve for tuning to perfection
  19. all the work will be finally worth the wait very soon hope- fully.
  20. yes nathans car but it has a few teething problems to sort out before it can be tuned any futher should be interesting to see how it goes.
