honestly i am sick of the victorian police. never have i been so annoyed in my life. i have no respect for them after tonite. i was at work tonite and i was taking a delivery not far from my work. i took my hr31 skyline. which is 100% legal, exhaust isnt over the db limit. hasnt got a cannon muffler. isnt too low. there is no pod filter. (has airbox) no bov. every factory thing is working. i was heading down cheltenham road when i see a green ss. i culd tell it was a cop as it drove right over the centere grass strip to chase after me! i was not speeding nor doing anything stupid. he starts to folow me and i was just about to turn into the street to the delivery and he pulls me over. i was very anoyed as the delivery was going to be late at this stage. he comes up to me and i asked politely/ 'excuse may i ask why i was pulled over (as i saw alot of retars in commodores etc speeding down the same road) his reply 'YOUR A P PLATER I DONT LIKE P PLATERS' i go fair enough. he asks if i have a bov i replied no. he goes pop ur bonet he loks around and cant find anything,.he asks me where i work i said 'johnny boys pizza' he asks me how i can afford a car on my salary. i reply what has that got to do with you. he gets my licence and proceeds to check my licence and cars rego. he comes bak and says your car rego has been suspended. i reply asking how is that possible. he goes its a nissan skyline, this is a skyline its suspended. i go did u even check my actual rego or did u put a skyline. he replies 'DONT GO TELLING ME HOW TO DO MY JOB I AM NOT STUPID ETC ETC ' i reply ' i bet you checked for my other skyline (which was crashed and deregistered) he argued with me, he went back to check again, and guess what, he was referring to my other car. he continues to hassle me. and i end up cracking the shits and take off. now honestly. the victorian cops have nothing better to do than hassle p platers. there are drug lords etc and other things they can do yet they hassle us? i have spent alot of time making sure that my car is 100% legal to the absolute fine details. i am getting fed up with all this and i am going to take action. p.s sorry for the ranting just really pissed off time for sum beer

part number is pfc rb25 9709-0009 hand controller is fcc nt 9803-0257 not sure on the differences but i dont think it can work on a series 2 rb25det engine. someone may be able to confirm this thanx

[thanx for that. i was actualy thinkin running no more than 16psi just to be safe. i will post a dyno graph as soon as the car is finished as its still being totally rebuilt. what kinda internals do you guys think i should do later on down the track ?

hey guys, ive got an rb25det with a gt 35 with an a/r of .82 , nismo 740cc injectors and a gtr pump which will be replaces with a bosch 040 pump, and a power fc. now what i was wanting to know, what is the safest boost level i can run with my stock internals. i will later on be doing the internals so i wouldnt mind knowing what boost levels i can run with that. what sorta power do you think i can expect with my package?

simple question really guys, what is the limit on the stock rb25det injectors and is there a boost cut on the stock ecu

ok many of you may have heard i crashed my hr31gts just over a week ago. after assessing my options and getin alot of quotes for different things. ive decided to buy a run about, and start stripping the car. im going to be takin the whole intrior out. taking the engine/gearbox out. the chassis is bent slightly on the left side where it got most of the impact so that is going to be straightened as is the radiator support. when that all gets straightened out its going in for a respray. interior will get a retrim (leather pending) and a new sound system shall be installed. most likely i will keep my 18 inche rims, but i wil upgrade my brakes to r33 gts-t items. and change all my bushes etc. i have to get a new intercooler made up as the old one got totaled in the crash, and some piping for the cooler needs to get made and does a whole new exhaust system. in the end the car shall look awesome. im going to try my hardest to have it done by the end of the year but i shall see how i go. i will keep you guys posted on the build up.

i was thinkin to get a plumbak bov and put it in the stock location, when i went to the epa with myc ar they didnt say anything about my stock bov being blocked off, there are alot of discusions about it being bad for the turbo or not, idle is shit gear shanges suck etc etc. on mine when it blockedo ff or not, it was the same shit no difference at all so yeh it just depends i guess. anyways good luck with it, best bet would be to get your stock bov fitted

hey guys, just regarding the rb25det, if you put a 3 litre bottom end on it i assume you wont be able to use the standard ecu corect? now since i would have to go aftermarket, the aftermarket ecu's hat are made for the rb25det , would they work with the 3 litre bottom end? or would i have to find an ecu that suits a 3 litre. thanx
