  1. Cromps and Baird would make a good combo, just anything other than Rusty.. Heck, I'd rather Daryl Eastlake!!
  2. Track-wise they could have made the in-field a little more interesting though.. Also, anyone else pick out that the kink/sweeper thingy at turn 2/3/4 looks a lot like the last section of the Yeongam circuit??? I think Hermann is definitely running out of ideas!
  3. Which is half of what the Macs used to use back in the day...
  4. Fight until you die, LAST STAND! That is all..
  5. I mean for a Ferrari fan I can't really articulate JUST how much I'm wanting Webber to win, I remember being at Melbourne to see him bag 2 points in the shitty Minardi back in 2002.. For his sake, for the sake of motorsport in this country & the much needed boost, I'm also off to the first annual Festival of Speed here in Perth, and it would be just fantastic to see Webber punt that RBR around as a world champ! Also I agree with the legacy bit, Webber is highly regarded for his mental toughness and his ability to overcome, I hope it doesn't abandon him now. However, and an almighty however.... A small part of my brain keeps telling me Mark is going to regret that spin in Korea for the rest of his life, I hope I'm wrong... Think though, imagine if he even scored 2/3/4 points on that day...
  6. Which is why I can't wait for BF3... With all of the EA/DICE BS aside... I feel BF3, or what is to become BF3, will literally blow us all away..
  7. Just over $400 if you're in Perth @ either MSY - Balcatta or PLE computers, can't remember which one... However, DO NOT BUY @ GAME/EB's ect!!!
  8. Must say, I think we all witnessed a very special moment from this season with the Incredible Hulk's pole... I would've bet my house on Rubens out qualifying the mini-kraut. But hey, strange things happen in this wonderful sport, and what a way to throw the championship contest in the air?? Koob, Rubens, all in the mix.. Btw I think Baron Von Doorcloser is finding his feet finally, anyone take notice of how quick he was in marginal conditions on the inters? Good to see him a few position ahead of Rosberg (for his sake, cause I'm a Nico fan too). In all fairness to Nicros, I think he got baulked, but its been a promising last few showings by MSC, lets hope he can bag some points.. I think Gonzo was lucky to get P5, but I get the feeling tonight's race is not going to be at all usual, BRING IT! Just hope the chin can get a solid podium if not a win.. Btw, my cousin's mate put $15 on a Williams pole, the cnut would be laughing right now.... I agree on the Button thing, he's looking more and more ordinary with every race, here was me thinking in the middle of the season he was right in the mix, I really can't believe how much, and how quickly, he has fallen away. He just doesn't seem at one with the car, and if I was him I'd be a little concerned. Not a good look for Jenson.
  9. Webz pumping in some good times... I hope it is an omen of things to come!!
  10. http://www.blusports.com/2010/09/channel-4.html
  11. I'm getting the cricket...
  12. That's all??? I would SO demand more...
  13. Updated it today.. I found it has made a world of difference! However, I agree with the sentiments that it could've been so much more, I guess the good thing with GT5 is that when it is eventually released and in the belly of all our playstations, I doubt very much that we will be left wanting. Not too place it on so high a pedestal, but I think that Polyphony, unlike MOST other developers, will leave NO stone unturned in order to make the best game possible!!
  14. If you look at the reverse camera angle, as in the one pointing down the track behind the cars coming out of the corner that Webz spun at. You can see that after he had hit the wall, and was rolling back, his front right wheel was inches off the ground. Maybe he did, maybe he didn't, but I think that contact donald ducked his suspension.. If so, I am curious as to why he didn't put the skids on...
  15. ZOMG!!! DTM cars give me such a hard on!!! But yeah, I think also too tightly regulating a series don't do much to help with excitement either... As in take F1 for example, whilst the 90's and early 2000's weren't the must exciting years, retrospectively we can't go back to the 60's and 70's, it just wont happen. However, take the year 2000 in F1, the cars had good power, and the aero was very good but for me, it didn't actually kill the racing. It was once the FIA tried to big-nose themselves into the regulations in an effort to rein in Ferrari that they started screwing with it! I mean in 4 or 5 seasons I think, they mandated the minimum height for the front wing be raised on two or three occasions, quali changed a couple of time also.. Too much tinkering, and tinkering for the sake of it, is a big nono. The changes they made from 1994 to 1995 proved how you could DO IT RIGHT! Same goes from when they banned turbos for 1989 (iirc), the few years were just as awesome! For the record, I am against control tyres, and if there must be a control tyre maker, then I'm most definitely against a control compound!! Offer some variation FFS!
  16. Hopefully we get the old Hockenheim, not the only the shit post-Tilke version...
  17. Tuning in cause the old man missed it driving to perth last night.. Want to watch Baron Von Doorcloser weave his magic against Barrychello, Koob & Buttonman.. Plus the satisfaction of watching that little vetf*cker's engine blow is all worth it on its own!!
  18. Fcking bung-eyed rookie! I actually would rather Kamui there next year, but my heart is set on Robert 'Mr Handsome' Kubica!!
  19. It reminds me of Iron Chef... I find it so very amusing!
  20. Tyre war much??? Michelin vs Pirelli would've been the ticket..
  21. Just pre-ordered the $300 edition... I think I died a little bit on the inside..
