  1. see link below for Group A's for sale http://www.ecurieinv.../inventory/race and have a read of this http://www.groupc.org.au/forums/showthread.php?t=291 I also have a feeling there may be a Rover running again!
  2. I drove another M35 last night that does 14.4's..........I know my car is a lot quicker than that so it should be very interesting....at 18-19PSI my AFR's are at 10.8 so it's still got more in it except the AFM is stopping it....needs to be clamped somehow! It's so good having Cams again!
  3. I think SO!....I still need to get the new Box in, Change spark plugs and do an oil change first. Plus fit new bits.....wont be cracking a mid 12 second past as I don't have the E-Manage on anymore but I should get a low 13 second pass!....still not bad for a 2 tonne fat cow!
  4. no Scott......so your in trouble again E-Flex boy!
  5. It was fixed by cutting the top off a zip tie and using it as a shim on the CAS.........so in other words I had to change the angle of the CAS slightly. f**k I wish I had the money back that I had thrown at this problem. I think every expert that I know or Dad knows has either had a look at the car or tried to diagnose it. Alex and I found the problem because I decided to test my spare CAS's before biting the bullet and buying another brand new one and when changing them back and forth this time I found inconsistencies in the RPM missfire and startup....so I fiddled and applied pressure in different directions and it either killed it , cleared it or f#$ked up the idle.....at first I thought the plug was stuffed but it seems that when we had done the GB change the CAS location has changed ever so slightly.....I dont' know how either it does not make sense! Funniest thing is one or 2 of the workshops decided to call me and Forums a waist of time and we don't know anything. I have a small quote for them! "IN YOU FACE MR MECHANIC!" Craig Markland I might just point this out to them those workshops as well! Happy days to......onto the next part of the project!....ECU's again!
  6. even better new Leon......Problem is solved.....I now have CAS! Car goes like stink again!......it's very neutral in balance........power is just right!
  7. Spotted a white m35 ar-x on ripping rd At about 3pm today
  8. Enjoying having a car again.....still has the CAS issue but will run without it connected....the only downside is it's hard to start and it has no advanced timing....but the upside is it has shit loads of torque and once boost develop's(18psi) the thing still goes well(e.g.enough to still break traction in the wet in second). With the emanage gone and back to standard injectors the Diff's were are great investment......feels like it's had a 400kg diet! P.S. I cannot wait to find out the miss fire issue with the CAS......bring on some advanced timing!
  9. Hi All, I have for sale the below which was running my NM35 until Tuesday this week: *E-Manage Ultimate(with disc, books and licence) *Harness *Boost sensor *Boost Sensor cable *Wideband cable Will not separate $550 Shipping at your expense or pickup can be arranged from Sydney. No offers
  10. Ffs....3 days.....the guy needs a bitch slap!
  11. You asked if it was running......yes it was.....you didn't ask if it was drivable! I didn't have much of a choice unfortunately I had to detune the thing to cross of possible causes...........that I still have the problem is a bit of a worry. I basically have 2 signals going to the CAS....somehow! P.S. I did get the car to have a clear run once or twice with the CAS connected and only 14psi!....still goes a lot better than standard......it's just not silly anymore.
  12. Got the fat cow driving today......back to no emanage and standard injectors though.........and no crank sensor which also means no cams ATM!
  13. I run in between 34 and 36 on the street for extra grip unless I want to have some fun in the wet!.....Aussie roads are shit so 40PSI would no be a nice ride and imo you get no handling improvement. I always look at tyre pressures as another suspension adjustment. running 55 series tyre though I can sort of see why you went up in pressures depending on your tyres. E.G. Nankangs felt mushy on the sidewall even at 40+ psi on the track...the Falkens I have only ever gone to 38-40 PSI on the track with bleed off!
  14. Huh????why? "please explain"
  15. really.....shit you've had a what looks to be a hard life up until now then!
  16. unless you have some way of controlling everything don't go bigger than a Sierra Stage 1. This is a proven good setup with the VQ25DET.....if you go bigger you WILL have lag issues. I have the GT30/71 core with the Garrett BB set but I have spent a lot of time and money getting it sorted......only go this way if you find some way of controlling/modifing the Cams and Throttle restriction! My suggestion is to go with Precision Turbo's in Wetherill Park.....while GCG are OK they have a very noisy barring......to me they don't sound right.
  17. In answer to your question .....yes!
  18. blasphemy!!!!
  19. but.....Nismo + Emanage = WIN! Pity I may be peeling the E-Manage back off!
  20. 3 running Nismo's....0 running F-Cons! Fail!!! atm
