Hey guys.. Wondering if anyone had ideas to help with sticky console pieces.. My guage cluster cover, radio surround and gear stick surround are all sticky.. all dust and anything floating in the car seem to stick to it.. tryed a few different wipes and nothing has worked or just made it look worse.. Any ideas short of buying new ones would be appreciated!! Mick

they are actually gas struts, they can leak over time , guessing the car is around 12yo+ so realy it isnt doing to bad. best bet would be to look in the yellow pages and find someone in your area that re gasses boot/tailgate struts. this is alot cheaper than getting new replacements. also of these kinds of companys have a mobile service and can come to u at home or work.. Hope this may be of some help... post back if u fix the problem! Mick

nissans are common for the fan speed resistor.. usually the max seting will work as it is hardwired so u dont get stuck.. not 100% if its the same in the skylines! resistor cost me like 70 bucks from nissan

hey all... looking for a cheap daily, 3 or 4 cylinder, basically something that runs on the smell of a oily rag!! got a new job close to home and not wanting to use my car as its costing me 15 bucks a day to drive 20-30kms!! not too fussed on body condition, just good or semi good mechanicals.. NSW, central coast , sydney or newcastle prefered, not interstate, dont want the hassle and cost of blueslipping it. Also wanting to spend little.. 500-1000 max!! SHow me what u got!! Mick
