  1. dishwashing liquid and water in a spray pump bottle to clean it. let it sit for 10mins with the detergent on it then wash off with clean water. let dry for a few hours (never use compressed air) and lightly re-oil. get the k&n oil from autobarn or any of the abovementioned store in the previous post. i have seen no-name brand oil in a spray can but dont know where to get it. -rb25
  2. They seem to be slow at the moment. I needed a new program written for my ecu (already have datalogit and associated hardware) and it took them 3 weeks just to do that. -rb25
  3. new? used? i'll start at $400 for used items. -rb25
  4. yes, GT-R GTS-T SR20 etc... the software is very good. -rb25
  5. catcha later
  6. sounds like a better option. i hate waiting for my pod filter to dry
  7. might have to invest in one of those filters. do you have to oil it?
  8. gotta wash air filter tonite too... ive spent my last 5 weekends working on my car and every weeknight working my second job. a bit sick and tired of it all really. i'll be glad when its tuned tomorrow, then i can just drive it.
  9. sweet. did you buy the 2-pack? i got the single 74gb and a raid 0 2x 120gb wd sata 7200's. goes alright. flogs photoshop and autocad and dvd stuff. thats all i wanted
  10. i was just tellin my mate brad about my wd raptor sata hdd. he so jealous
  11. spewin about the gauge! i was thinking if i get semi-serious about drag racing id widen my stock rims to 275/50/16 or something. just cut them down the middle and weld a big hoop in them
  12. get the new one. im spewin i didnt - too impaitient. :headspin:
  13. yeah, i can launch it nearly perfect on the street, but the track is another story... very sticky, another few hundred rpm id say on launch and a much harder follow thru into the revs in 1st & 2nd
  14. T & T sounds sweet. i guess im ready! cept tyres but i'll just let mine down a bit.
  15. i see you're bidding for a powerfc.. watch those second hand ones! i got burt a little. the hc was rooted but he gave me back 200 for it. and the ecu is an older version rom and doesnt do data logging thus the tune method gav is using.
  16. lol. i wanna get it down the quater soon. never done it before :s
  17. yeah they get pretty hot, im still 'testing' i guess. i might move them if its a problem. gav seemed to think it was ok tho so i think they'll stay that way. i've actually cleaned up the hoses a bit too - hidden them (if thats possible)
  18. they make a hissing noise :s i think its ok. its actually weird, you can hear it change from one can to the other when coming on/off boost.
  19. catch cans....
  20. true. but last i knew they just hire the stuff from bd4's. dont know what the go is now. true. but the FconV Pro version 3.0 and higher are in english i believe. -rb25
  21. damn. yeah, its never ending money being poured into it now. but after tomorrow the spending will stopp and the fun will start got my oil catch can setup in too. ill post a pic, looks 'tech'.
  22. good advice Alchemist. -rb25
  23. essentially its an offset from what ever actuator your using yes. -rb25
  24. yep, gav will be doing it. its not a straight forward tune. my ecu is weird and he has to tune it on a dyno actually watching the knock, fuel and timing in real time. bit of a bastard.
  25. just put my platinum plugs in... drives alot better down low. goin for a powerfc tune tomorrow
