  8. Maybe an HKS Superoil 10W70... good for 1 pass and throw it away id say.... -rb25
  9. Ok, I had problems with pressure and Mobil 1, i wont touch the stuff now. Always used ryco filters, no problems at all. Im using Conoco synthetic oil atm and it great. Also my factory oil pressure gauge consistently reads lower than what my aftermarket one does too, especially at idle and high rpms. -rb25
  10. that wont be hard to beat. the commodores ive had were literally falling apart after 2 years from new.
  11. Take it to somebody that has a nissan consult and card for your car. Makes life very easy. -rb25
  12. pretty much.
  13. I see lots of excels with front mount interfoolers on the gold coast. someone up here is selling these dodgy kits i rekon. rice merchants. -rb25
  14. I'd get it from nengun and save myself 300bux. I'm in the process of getting a whole shitload of stuff from nengun, heaps cheaper and pretty quick too. -rb25
  15. See the guys at Bridgestone Eagle Farm in brissy s.e. qld'ers. I was quoted $525 (from any old bridgestone down the road) for a 235/40/18 S03 and I got em from eagle farm for $375. They were $225 cheaper on 275/35/18's too. -rb25
  16. Bridgestone S02, S03 and Grid II. I've use all these tyres and they are awesome in the wet. Falkens 326 were the worst by far, they were just dangerous to drive on in the wet. -rb25
  17. ROFL I spoke to a mate of mine whos a car detailer and he said leave it till it dries (dont touch it), take it around to him and he'll clean it with proper carpet cleaning stuff then wet/dry vac. sweet. -rb25
  18. people - redline oil is race oil. designed to take a good hard flogging, but only for a short period of time. It has a short lifespan and it's not really suitable for street use imho. Its good if youve got a track car and dump the oil after every meet. -rb25
  19. and wtf is this about putting water down there! DO NOT DO THIS. Also if this is one of the washers off the inlet cam sprocket, you will need it to space the CAS off the sprocket correctly or it will chew the CAS out. -rb25
  20. Jesus christ! Its not in the sump ffs. its fallen between the idler and tensioner pulley and on top of the crank sprocket, or below it. I definately wouldnt turn the engine over until I got it out. As suggested, use a magnetic tip bolt grabber thing. If you cant get it out, this might mean taking the belts off and the sprocket covers to get at it. bitch of a job. -rb25
  21. I think you should really buy new plugs, especially if they are old. Once they have fouled, they're pretty much stuffed. -rb25
  22. Hey people I just bought my lunch (maccas) and on the way home I had to stop the car quickly. Anyway, I had a thickshake in the console and it spilt all into the gear stick surround, passenger seat and floor. I'm a bit upset by this . Whats the best way to get it out of the carpet and seat. Luckily i have seat covers and the spill on the seat was minimal, but i've gotta take the seat out to clean up the carpet. Big Kev to the rescue!!! I'm Excited!!! Cheers -one pissed off rb25
