Hey Guys! I'm practically new to this site. Just traded in my 05 WRX for a R34 GTT. Few questions. 1. The boost doesn't seem as hard hitting as it did in the WRX, and the car seems slower overall. (not going to stay that way for long). Is this normal? 2. The HICAS light on the dash. does it ever light up? And what does it mean if it does/doesn't light up? 3. There is a VSS switch on the right of the dash which says "SPORT" and "SILENT". What does this switch do? When i toggle it either left or right, all i hear is a whirring noise from the rear. 4. Are there good japanese Short shift kits out there? 5. Where are some good workshops around Sydney to work on a Skyline? BD4's? Advans? 6. I LOVE THE SKYLINE!!!! Need;s some work done to it though... Hi guys! Need some help. What globes are in the skyline GTT? I can't seem to find out what they are. Also, do i have to take out the headlight assembly for the LED like globe? Cheers

Hey guys...i was meant to get insurance for my new R34 GTT through Ryno...But when i called a week later they advised that they have changed their policies and do not insure under 30 for this car... This sucks...as i was planning to get insurance through Ryno.... Now i have no choice but to go through Young and Cool? I am 25...no at fault accidents in my driving history. Only been suspended once for speeding on my P's. Any ideas where i can go for decent comp? Because other places Young and Cool / Just Cars have shit high excess and very high premiums...with low agreed value Vigils won't insure as i am not 26 yet..Shannons is good except the premiums would kill me... Waiting for Famous to get back to me. Where is BOOSTED these days? Can he still hook me up? Any help would b appreciated...as i need to get this done THIS WEEK. Thanks.

Hey guys. Looking at a security system for my skyline. Tossing up between Viper and QuickTrak. I want something that calls/sms me when there is movement with the car. And satelite tracking. Anyone know which ones are good and how much and where i can get these from? Cheers.

Hopefully the coilovers aren't damaged... And i was thinking the PFC...but yeah i knew that APEXi stopped making them...mayb bankrupt now as well... And is there a short shifter (good one) available for these? Cause it was pretty long..... So many plans....bahhh~~~

Guys. I am just about to purchase a imported R34 GTT. Few questions. It has a catback, coilovers, oilcooler, boost controller and POD filter. Do i require a ECU? or do RB25DET NEO's run ok with these mods? Also, how much boost are these running in stock form and what can i (not going to yet) up the boost to without damaging my engine? Is the gearbox weak in this model? How about the brakes? What is the most logical upgrade for the brakes? And are knocking noises in the rear normal for cars with coilovers? Because all cars i drove with coilovers had these knocks in the rear :S And lets say i do require a ECU and tune. Which ones are recommended for these cars? I've been a WRX man and i'm new to the scene. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sick of it... i might regret it in the future, but meh...i wanna do what my heart tells me to do. And do all S15's come with xenons? I thought the GTT comes with Xenons as well. Does he GTT have climate control or is it just AC?

i like the looks of the S15... but i saw a nice GTT yesterday... gahhh i wish i just had enuf money to buy the GTR...

this is crazy st george quoted me 8.95% and monthly repayments of $1022 for a 30k loan HSBC quoted me 10.45% and monthly repayments of $974 How the hell does that work out? higher interest rate, yet i pay less??? FINANCE/BANKS are full of BS imo

Hey Guys. I was going to get my current finance refinanced with Esanda, but they said they don't finance for imports..... ANy companies out there that do? Hey guys, Name's Paul. I have a query and i thought that i'd ask the nissan guys for some advice. I have a MY05 WRX which i'm thinking of selling to get a S15 (Jap Spec) or a R34 GTT. Is this crazy? Should i just keep the 05? If i decide between the S15 and GTT, could you tell me which one would be quicker on a track and the twisties/touge? And which car has better brakes etc etc... i want to know the pros and cons before i go out and do something stupid. And one other thing. Which car out of these 2 react better to mods? Thanks for all the input ps. whats the difference between aus/jap-spec S15's apart from the gearbox and power? Is the aus delivered 5spd stronger than the 6spd?
