[group Buy] Acpt Carbon Fibre Tailshafts Any Model! $1400us
star32 replied to Angus Smart's topic in Group Buys
This 'not fitting right' deal might have something to do with not having the correct serial number, assigned to you, so untill, and if everyone can spare a minute looking up their shaft serial numbers and comparing them to the paperwork, we might never know what we have against what we should have. My setup is: R32 gtr with a 6sp Holinger and my numbers dont match. I have not attempted to install the shaft yet but would not be surprised if it wont fit. -

gtr13 Besides the pro-forma invoice, take a look at your shipping list, there should be a serial number there in the 'part description details' section. See if that matches what you got on that shaft. So to everyone , please go ahead and check your paperwork and the serial number on the shaft itself, post these numbers here, even get some measurements of the shaft itself, I am about to go and start measuring now. -

One other ting to keep an eye on gents, serial number on invoice does not match serial number on shaft. We might be looking at wrong dimensions between some of us. -

Interested, but will know 2 monthe before event if back in the country or overseas on business, based on the date of the event. Work roster comes out 2 months in advance. So will see.

Great news Andrew. -
The longer you guys avoid CRD the more time Jim will have to spend working on my car. Good luck finding a better tunner, when it comes to Skylines, on this planet.

When it comes to push bikes, China here we come. I am so sick of the bikes up there, now I have to experience the same headache back home too, that is just great. My two cents on this matter, push bikes should not be allowed on the road untill they start paying registration. Why should the rest of us be fined and lose points. Are this bike ridders so in a hurry that they need to be ahead of the rest of the vehicles, which are much faster than a bike, i might add and as if that is not bad enough we are going to sit there and watch some bike execute a very time consuming hook turn. Ok, I feel better now, back to happy thoughts, life is too short to worry about this.

You got a beast there Mark, cant believe you decided to sell. Nicely priced, I know how much it costs to get one of these cars to where your is at this stage. All the best with the sale. Hopefully someone that can drive, buys it and not end up in a museum.

Downshift Or Coast In Neutral When Coming To Stop Light?
star32 replied to Phatboy's topic in Drivetrain and transmission
Just think about what is cheaper at the end of the day, your engine or your brakes. Engine was designed to accelerate not deccelerate. Even race cars, if they can get around the matter of having to lose all that energy, for the spped theay are normaly doing ( which you dont have slowing down on a red light ) they will not opt to gear down but coast it around the corners. Most drag cars shut down their engines once over the finish line, but that is a slightly more complicated matter, so I will not go there. Brakes are cheap, use them. You odds of having to avoid anybody doing anything stuppid, at 30 - 40 kph is very small to nonexistent. -
You must be talking about this wheels. This are the only ones I am aware of in Carbon Fiber, for cars. www.dymag-usa.com/product/archives/car_wheels/ You will not find this wheels in OZ. Hope it helps.

R32 GTR - Holinger but I was told that the length is the same as the original shaft. Shaft I am after is the 2000HP one. Thanks for your hard work Andrew. Regds. Robert. -
