  1. Hay guys, i have a vipec computer and was just wondering if by moving the tps around will it change anything???? we moved it after it was tunded because someone told me that it would fix my idle issue... but it diddnt.... any help???
  2. Every now and then it feels like the clutch is still engaged even when i come to a complete stop the cars feels like it wants to keep moving. Take off again and it eventually goes away, but it comes back. any ideas ??? sounds like a whining noise before you slow down, and when slowing down starts to sound like clutch is still engaged. this still happens if i take the clutch in or out, pull the car out of gear or leave it in a gear and swap down. the only way i can fix it is to pump the clutch while rolling and it goes awway. the car is an r32 gtr.. any help would be good... clutch is only 5000 klm old... alll new stuff.....

  6. thanks T04GTR, ive got the Hks Step 2 valve springs in it and am looking at hks 265 step 2 cams.... ive got a better manifold, bigger dump is under construction, the only other thing is to grab a good waste gate... with that setup we and 25psi we should be looking at about your power, was hoping for 400kw atw but id be happy with what your getting.. thanks everyone for all your help... will keep you all updated with the results.....
  7. I think its just a safe tune.. but not to sure..... not sure who else does VIPEC computers in bris??? any sugestions... i have another 5000klm before was gonna go all out with the tune
  8. also check your plugs.... could have givven you the wall hitting experience.. and be down on power..
  9. have you put diffrent fuel in latley??? sounds like it is fueling up.. could be your afm or your fpr...... if its a stock ecu, do a reset and put it in learn mode.... to reset Take the terminals off the battery, then turn the lights on to get rid of stored power..... put back together and turn the key... it will be in learn mode for 30 key turns... if it was your fuel it will sort it self out.... if its ur afm, clean and replace if you have tooo... good luck
  10. how much do we think a set of cams will drop boost response???? thinking a .70 rear.. talking to gcg they say its bout 800rpm drop, but with only 8000rpm limit will be fine... still peek the same power figures aparently.... trying the bigger dump, and better manifold first... if no luck then we play with the exhaust housing......

Have been thinking bout the rear housing. waht bout a smaller housing... liek a .70. this would give me better response wouldnt it? because at the moment the revs die off before the turbo... maybe change the zorst housing down a bit and we might get better response.......or would this just f*k up???? sugestions?????? im pretty happy with the power even 450atwhp is sweet buta bit more response would be nice.,..
  12. i would look at winding the aac valve all the way in, turn the car on, let it warm up, if it stays at the same ldle then its a vacume leak or the aac valve has a f*ked soleinoid. try twisting your tps and playing wiht that... or check the vacume line on your fuel pressure reg. could be too high or to low,,, good luck i have 2rb26 afm if you need to test yours...
  13. yeha Built engine..... thinking bout going for custom twins.. not to sure.... prob just look at better dump and manifold with some more boost....
  14. so buy leaving the to4z the way it is i could boost it and ipull a big number . or have less Hp with more streetable response. the manifold i have has t4 flange but i also have a t3 manifold. say i was 2 go 4 a Gt 35 would it be worth it? really? how much more response am i gonna get? am i going 2 drop power?

So with either of these im assuming that i would be expecting a decent 4000rpm full boost???? what sorta power range are these turbos. should i expect the same sorta power to boost setting?????? I have been in contact with billet turbos and have gotten quite a good response , say that they can get me about 800 rpm eariler response with a billet cartridge, bout 800 dollars. so with that and the new manifold and dump we should see a little over 1200rpm response. still what would be better.....???? new turbo or keeping the t04z and modifing it..... sugestions, ps thanks alot guys

Im looking at between 500awhp and 600awhp... so im thinking better manifold, (i have a sub zero) manifold getting coated atm, Bigger dump pipe, Decat pipe. cam gears, and with the stuff ive done, it should pull it up a bit. some more boost and we should see something a bit better.... the only thing i would like to see, which is y im looking at a diffrent turbo is some more response... would like to see it come in hard at bout 4000rpm.. at the moment its comming in hard at bout 5200... any sugestions????
  17. Say I was to go to a Gt3582r, Yes my manifold has a t3 flange, would that drop my response and produce the same sorta power??? im looking at about 500hp..

Yeah, they said to put cam gears in it, change the exhorst ( remove the middle muffler ) change the intake pipe (pod set up) and maybe a cold air box... out of that the exhaust has been change to a hks 3.75 inch, pod has been moved into the guard with a cold air box..... the only thing im waiting for is cam gears to go on , i just dont want to put cam gears on it and them 6 months later put cams in... trying to figure what to get for it.,..... sorry it was 330 hp.... was looking at the wrong sheet...

  21. well im seeming to agree with you guys about the dump, but have seen the same turbo come on harder alot earlier with the same set up. and make more power at 18psi...... there is a gtr at godzilla motorsport that runs the same turbo and has made 540hp on 18psi , the only differance is a set of cams, and a sub zero manifold, and a 4" dump + cat back..... i am not running cam gears yet.. the are sitting in a box under my bed atm...... as cams would be good also - any sugestions???? the engine is rather fresh and godzilla motor sport didnt want to push it to hard...... as for response id like to drop it buy about 1000 to 1500 rpm...... so im thinking :cams : cam gears: 3.75" dump: sub zero manifold : hpc coating: any thing else would be great...... ps i ran a set of standard turbos with same engine and it ran 330 kw on 19 psi..... and came on at 2500 rpm... would it be cheaper putting some steel wheels on these and boosting them up????
  22. sorry guys. its got- stock cams. garret t04z .70 and .84. jap manifold. tial copy 44 mm gate. 3 inch dump. 3.5 inch magna flow cat brand new. 3.5 inch Hks exhaust. 044 pump in tank. 780cc injectors . vipec comp. tuned by godzilla motor sport. made 280Hp on 11psi. 350Hp on 15psi. 380Hp on 17 psi. my exhaust is really quiet. my mate has same exhaust and can't even tell my car is on when he is sitting next 2 me at the lights. we tried swaping exhaust and taking cat Out no difference yet. but haven't checked on dyno.

Hay guys, had my gtr tuned a while back and it was lacking on power something fierce.... it running 350 hp at all four on 15psi.... it built and all the rest... ive changed the exhaust twice and seem to not change anything.... the only thing i can think is the exhaust is very quiet for a 3.5 inch hks..... it got a high flow cat. but i cant seem to find the problem.....maybe the turbo???? maybe the manifold?? maybe the exhorst???? any ideas would be great.... thanks ps would like it to spool bout 1000rpm earlier, any ideas also would be great.... oh yeah the turbo comes on about 5200 rpm full boost... i think thats a little late but not to sure.....

  25. have you checked the clutch booster?? vacume lines?>??? or the pcv????
