  1. hay guys, ive just finished putting back the plemum back on after blowing 2 throttle body seals. all was sweet till boost at 5500rpm, then bang a big plume of black smoke, and the car noseing over. at first it felt like a huge miss, but after closer inspection i cant see any reasons y it would be missing. new plugs, different coil packs and different coil pack loom, and a different igniter module. didnt make a differance. some details of the car. rb26. t04z vipec ecu stock cooler. 3" zorst stock coils bcpres -6 ngk type r plugs any ideas would be good. thanks.

  5. the rb20 alternator on my 25 pulls the same amps throung the rev range.

    doesnt matter. using the backing plate to seal the crank and im going to be running a dry sump

  13. is it a gtr. if so its a cut Out 4 the all wheel drive pump. or buy supplying constant power it gives constant 4 wheel drive did the same on my Gtr

Im self taught, would have cost alot if i didnt get heeps from work. start with tig. stainless fusing for starters, then progress to using filler. dont waste 700 on a cheap dc tig. buy a quality one prob bout 1500 - 2000. will help with learning. took me bout 3 weeks welding alot and now i do heeps of exhausts and cooler piping for friends, stainless and mild.... just started al welding but its a tad hard on a dc tig. hope to get an ac/dc soon..... there is a book that is called "introduction to tig " it will really help if you cant be f**ked going to tafe. have fun.

  18. Nice way of putting it. Turbo came with the car so i didnt choose it. but i have another manifold that is t3, so t67 is a possibility. still doesnt answer my question, what will a .70 rear housing give me in the way of response.

Yeah its built, No cams yet, was told that cams will increase boost response. might be the cheapest option. still trying to figure out how much differance a .70 housing will give me on the t04z. might be enough for what im after, with cams of course. should i expect a 500 rpm gain or what...? any idea????
  20. so a 3076 will max bout 300kw. im after bout 320 kw to 350kw. is the 35 still 2 big???? or will it be the same as t04z with the .70?????? what sorta rpm would i expect boost with the gt30???
  21. how would the .70 rear housing affect the turbo??? only running 17 psi. on the car at the moment. no cams either. what sorta power will a gt 30 max at on a 26??? someone said 320kw.. is this right???
  22. Hay guys, Thinking bout swaping my t04z .84 for a gt 35. but before i do I just wanted some feed back on how a .70 rear on a t04z would go. im looking for more response atm. im running 400hp atw, any sugestions.
