  1. yeah i have a hks pod it is a bit worn out and dirty might change it actually. but yeah they make a mad! induction noise

  4. i was reading throught the tutorials and came across changing wiring or running a relay to get a bigger current to go through to make my fuel pump (walbro) to run at full compacity as they are ment to run at 13.something volts... note. i have ran a new earth wire directly to were battery neg. earths on chassis knowing Q's cant be asked in tutorials i have a few... if i cut the standard voltage wire powering my pump and put a relay in between, will it increase my voltage? or will i have to have a more direct feed (eg.battery) to get the maximum voltage? what is the best size relay (if that makes a difference)? also i will run an inline fuses so i dont damage anything, will it matter putting it after or before the relay? because the inline fuses hold 12v and im not 100% electrics but after the relay is in the voltage after it will increase and blow the inline fuse straight away... will it? cheers 4drftn

  6. fixed the problem... my earth wire was getting no power what so ever... directed an earth wire directly to negative battery and works well. responding to what QWK32 was saying - aparently the walbro fuel pumps need to run at 13.something volts to run at a full 100%. i may need to run a relay to get it at full working compacity but would it make my car run any different?

  10. would a welded diff be better than a lsd? surely it cant be stronger than a lsd...
  11. the fuel pump i took out works when hooked up to the battery, could it mean the wiring might be stuffed? but when i put the test light on the end of the plugs they have power going to them when ignition is on...

  13. how strong are they after they have been welded? does it make any clunking noises or anything? how does it affect parking?

  15. hi, the other night i pulled into the servo filled up like normal. go to take off and was hard to start. got it going and left the servo... got down the road, when applying acceleration fuel was being restricted and went to stall. eventually it did (around corner from the servo) towed it home and realized the fuel pump wasnt priming i checked the fuse, was fine but replaced it anyway... so i took the fuel pump out, got the part no.GSS342 (walbro) and bought a direct replacement. put it in today and same result! i also noticed that my ECU (microtech LT8) which controls my fuel and ignition was on the floor (fell out from under dash, which has happened before and not harmed anything), but i the checked plugs were in, and they were... might i ad earlier that day (has happened before and on rare occasions) it was hard to start had to pump accelerator so it would pick the fuel up... thinking it could mean fuel pump was on the way out what could be the problem? cheers

  17. so in the second pic where it is comin out it is upside down and needs to be turned or flipped over 180degrees? also the back wall... is that the back wall towards the front of the car (when in boot)? or closest to me (when in boot)? im a bit confused... also i have my back seat out if it would make things easier... cheers
  18. hi, i have a walbro fuel pump for my R33 and need to put the bracket back in to its position inside the tank, trouble is when i went to get it out it had already come of the mounting position and the cradle/bracket was sitting there, meaning i have no idea where abouts it has to be fasten or fixed to.... all i need to do is just place the cradle/bracket into its fixed (sercure) position inside the tank. can anyone tell me, draw a diagram, have pics or give any info to help with this problem. cheers
  19. i had the same issue, but it didnt matter what i did i still had a one light slightly duller lookin than the other. i used clr. i ended up buying clean used lights and sealing them up. havent fogged or leaked at all. so if you can clean them up good as mentioned above seal them up tightly.
  20. my car pushes 300 hp at wheels and i have 5/16 hose (stock size). for a bigger and faster fuel flow the fuel pump and injectors do the work.

  23. i tried using locking chain pliers but i cant get them onto the cap (because cap sits low in hole)

  25. i have a trust front bar over my fmic and my indicators were on the mesh... but i have recently takin my front bar off and have bought custom small indicators to go back on when its finished being painted. they will go on the mesh too
