  1. good story, nice find...
  2. best thing to do is get someone to give you a hand... there is a thread on here on how to get to you heater box...
  3. you might have a dirty heater box, you will have to pull your dash out to clean it though...
  4. i know this is a bit off topic but, i know of someone, who knew someone who was at the pub of his face when he got into his car he threw his guts up all over the dash and the vomit went down into the heaters ect... didnt matter how much he cleaned it up the smeel never went away, even after pulling the dash apart, never killed the smell, ended up selling the car. Obviously they didnt have the heaters or aircon switched on when they test drove it... very unlikely this is you case but could just well be the case... hehe you might wanna refill your aircon, a mate had a falcon and it smelled abit when it was empty... by the way its winter, what you need aircon for?
  5. i think it might be beyond repairing... what are the chances of that happening, considering how many others thrash there cars...
  6. i have the same problem... i dunno if its coming from the seal on the rear windscreen, but its a pain
  7. as far as bumper flexability goes you can get a flexible primer (undercoat) to help prevent fractures in the paint...
  8. it also depends on how many times it has already been repaired too. body filler will just chip away even with the slightest touch. you can also buy the flexable bumpers, i seen them in a magazine, mind you they would be pricey. bumpers have a limited flexability as paint has near none. in many cases the bumper will flex and the paint in that area will tend to come away over time...
  9. autometer is a performance brand... i use a autometer pro comp gauge... pricey but good

  12. GODZLA
  13. has it always been like that??? was it installed professionally??? maybe if it has its been wired up incorrectly... maybe you dont have the correct wire (memory) wired up to a constant 12 volt power source, it could be wired up to acc. or something... seen something simaliar like this happen before...
  14. I had 17inch wheels on my commodore that were repainted they turned out just like knew... people make the mistake of getting there wheels painted in acrylic (mind you if plenty of clear coat will work), if done in a 2pac they will last. At bodyworks it would cost about $70 - $80 a rim, but if your experienced you can do it yourself... just remember when using 2pac paint wear a decent respatory mask not a crappy dust mask as it is very very harsh on the lungs.
