Hi All Need help with a R33 Auto Skyline. My newfew replaced the fuild in his gear box a few weeks ago but since then everytime is goes in drive or reverse it stalls. check all vaccum lines, TPS, conections outside etc no luck. I spoke to a transmission bloke and he said sound like the solenoids are gone. Anyone had the same issue? and if so has anyone ever replaced shift soliniods in a R33 Auto Skyline? ,how much did it cost for the soleniods? and where do I get them. . Thanks in adavance

Update. Got it into 2nd and was struggling to idle gave it herbs and then died.

if I keep the revs up still dies when in Drive but once it put into park or neutral I can rev it no issue

No sure 100% but the dipstick says. Its says full but I wasn't there for than part. as soon as it goes into drive or reverse or 2, 3 it stall and cuts out.

and I'm just checking the o2 sensor now...

Sorry guys, Car was been fine up until Wednesday this week. The Car had a miss on Thursday but I found a dead coil easy solved. The auto transmission fluid was replaced Thursday this week. Since then it wouldn't change gear without stalling. I have checked and cleaned the IAC, Replaced all spark plugs, cleaned air filter box and replaced air filter, replace all vacuum hoses but still no go. and replaced the sump gasket.

Yes I have still nothing....

about 800 to 900 when its in Park or Neutral its okay but Reverse or drive it stalls

I have a r33 gtst skyline rb25det motor series 2 been rebuild 10,000klms ago gt3037 garrett turbo emanage computer inovate wideband 02 trust front mount 3inch exhaust 18inch wheels with new rubber 235/40/r18 front 265/30/r18 rear apexi suspension boost gauge body kit sunroof Down side Needs a tune, need a bit of TLC on the body few dents from shopping trolley etc, and general tidy up. and there a small bit of rust on the rear driver window All this 4 $8,000 ono Or I part of some of the car with the turbo for $1700, the emange for $400, inovate wideband for $350 and the wheels for $1500 if you want any photo pm and I will email u some. Keep post as I am cleaning up today so more parts maybe found Thankx

the fuse for the fuel pump is in with the normal fuses and the relay is in the boot near all the hicas fuses etc i thinkl been a while
