  1. The best way to tell is the oxidation on the machined aluminium ABS module and the lip on the discs. I sold my car today and it is the first car that I am sad about selling. So this ends my association with SAu as I will access WRX and Golf GTi forums from now. Thanks to all those who helped me in SAu over the 5 years of owning my V35 and to the the guys who have developed and run the site - it is an excellent site and very beneficial to Skyline owners. Enjoy your Skylines!!!!
  2. Had a few enquiries but no luck selling so far so have reduced price to $23,000 ONO.

  4. Based on your comments and what is available the initial starting price is too high - have reduced it to a more realistic $24000.
  5. I agree - it is stupid to start at a low price with no space to manoeuvre. I have just listed it and will adjust the price according to the response. Have already had a few enquiries.
  6. I am regretfully selling my Skyline 350 GT after 5 years of excellent motoring - so if you are interested or know someone who wants an excellent car please let them know. Here is the link to the ad on carsales.com:http://www.carsales....aspx?R=11680629

  11. Hi Raymond, I had the same problem and fixed it by using a hair dryer heating the dent and it gradually popped out. Even though the polymer is glass filled it responded to heat as most thermoplastics do - they have a memory and generally reform to the original formed shape. You will have a very slight crack in the paint but that can be fixed. Good luck
  12. Oh and I forgot to mention DON"T remove the front bar - you will not get it back on correctly. Take the front wheels off and only remove the front guard protector - there is no need to remove the back one. Also there is no need to undo the screws at the bottom of the front one as you can get access to the lights by just pushing it aside. The only screw on the back protector you need to remove is the one at the top of the guard nearest the front protector. It is quite easy to do once you have done it - good luck!
  13. Try this place in the US for lights and globes - they are awesome to deal with and have excellent products and much cheaper than here: http://store.iJDMTOY.com/
  14. I went to buy a Ryco oil filter for the V35 and the Ryco catalogue said Z445 but some of you on SAU have said that Z436 is the one! Which is correct?
  15. I have these 12V LED 300 mm long strips for sale. Three are perfect but the 4th has 3 LEDs out as shown. Cost $60 from the US but will sell for about $40 including postage.
  16. I have 4 LED strips, each 300 mm long, for sale as shown but the one shown has 3 LEDs out but they can be cut off. The others are all ok. They cost me $60 from the US and will accept about $40 including postage.
  17. I finally got some daytime running lights from the US that really work well on the V35:
  18. That is exactly what mine was doing and now it seems to be stable and accurate. When I cleaned the connections today I noticed that the tank was half full of fuel when the gauge indicated that it was nearly empty. I have only taken it for a short drive and it seems accurate now and doesn't go all over the place; I will have to wait and see if it is permanent but the US forums seem to think that this is a good fix.
  19. Here is all you need to do the job: http://g35driver.com/forums/g-spot/243942-...eirdness-6.html http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G35/Coupe/2003/fl.pdf Good luck
  20. I fixed the fuel gauge problem and it was easy. All you have to do is clean the sliding connections on the 2 fuel floats. Take out the rear seat, expose the both openings to the 2 floats, withdraw the left float but just lift the right to expose the contacts and get a cotton bud to clean the sliding connections on both the floats. They don't seem dirty when you first see them but when you run the cotton bud over them you get a black oxide on the bud which is affecting the fuel gauge reading. Only takes about half hour.
  21. The led strips I purchased from the US are good but not bright enough for daytime use in the strip parking lights. Has anyone replaced the 5W parking globes with high intensity LEDs so that the strip lights up during daytime driving?
  22. Thanks for the good info. I have ordered two LED strips and will try to insert them into the parking light space when they arrive. Will let you know how I get on with the conversion
