  2. You guys must have shit tyres...the roads are fine
  3. Is it worth replacing standard coilpacks with these if the stock ones are fine? I was going to change to iridium sparkplugs so I thought may as well upgrade my 10+ year old coilpacks. What do you guys think? I have money lying around as well, plus I got my Crudd bucks.
  4. But how is it that it's happened as soon as I got a brand new clutch installed? Bit of a coincidence isn't it?
  5. The noise only happens when im driving normally, if the clutch is pressed the noise will disappear, but as soon as I release the clutch it comes back. I dont know if it'll be a huge problem (its not clunking or extremely loud) as its only just happened as soon as I got the clutch installed. But the kit I had replaced the clutch, pressure plate and release bearing. It might be "wearing in" sort of speak, I think I might leave it for a week or so. I was more worried about the metal in my gearbox oil But yeah everything feels right with the car and I have crunched my gears once or twice since owning, cant believe I didn't think of that
  6. Just got a new clutch installed on my car and the workshop also changed the gearbox oil. They found some very fine metal fillings around the plug area and floating in the gearbox oil. He wrapped the filings up in paper so I could have a look, and yeah if i rub it between my fingers it's definately there... I know it's not good, what should I do? Any quick checks I can do before I drive it off a cliff On another note there's some sort of noticeable spinning noise coming from the passenger floor. Could a machined flywheel cause that or is it just the clutch bedding in etc?
  7. Can ya say it again for all time sake
  8. Is it just me or do people prefer cruises on Friday's? Aren't you guys usually doing things on Saturday night?
  9. Meguiars plastic polish which can be bought from your local supercheap, repco etc. I found Meguiars to be the best out of all the plastic polishes I've used.
  10. Cruise didn't look too bad when I gots to Leach Hwy Maccas.
  11. They got jailed for only a year and fined $3.5million.

    Car Cruise

Ya might be better off running it next week if your planning on making your own map, that way you can drive it a couple of days before to make sure there are no mistakes, detours etc.

  18. Hey you dont get to choose the repairer for her car and nor do you get to choose the quote you want to use for her repair bill, this is all her insurances business...And yeah its normal for insurance comopanies to keep you in the dark, you need to make te effot to call up and ask them whats going on. Jump in a plane and fly to mexico I say
  19. Hrmmm I have the actual manual if you want to BORROW it. Theres a manual on x-speed for just the profec (not spec II) but I'm not sure how it will relate to the Spec II.
  20. A lot of people recommend Fibrevision for Bodykit sourcing/painting. I personally have not dealt with them so I cant vouch for there work.
  21. Please tell me that its not a SILVER 96 33
  22. How often are you going to be doing drifting? If not much dont go spending a ridiculous amount on something with heaps of potential that only gets used once every two months or so. I got some TEIN superstreets with adjustable camber arms/toes for 2.6k which are really suppoed to perform out on the track, I would recommend those but each to their own.
  23. Anything that has low km's and log books to prove them is a winnah in my opinion, especially when your forking out 50k on the car. But the Black one does have some tasteful mods. If you want some nice power then go the black one, if not, go with something that may prove more reliable due to lower km's
  24. I would consider the Silver one, also has log books which is a bonus. Then I'd be leaning towards the third one down and would be staying away from the black one.
  25. I think we need a yellow sticker sticky thread. Not that people would see/use it anyway
