We have a couple of RB25 gearboxes. They start from $1200. -
R32 Gtr Grill For Sale
MercuryMotorsport replied to Johnspec's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
sold and paid for! -
It is impossible to compare those 2 prices without knowing what is and is not included in each price. We have done plenty of timing belts on RB's and the price varies each time depending on what seals get replaced, the condition of the idler and tensioner bearings, if the water pump is done whilst the front of the engine is apart etc. Best bet is to make a few calls (including one to us ) and see what options you have and what back up service you receive. We offer a 100% money back guarantee on all of our servicing work.

We installed and tuned a ViPEC for a customer with an R33 just recently. Got rid of the AFM, made a great power increase and the car runs beautifully. You could also go Power FC, although ViPEC is the same price once you add in a Z32 AFM. PM if you need any info

Peterson Drysump Pump Brand New!
MercuryMotorsport replied to PVL-747's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
Could you PM me some specs on the pump please. I am looking for a pump at the moment, just need to see if it has the right number of stages. -
I guess a topic like this is always a can of worms. A couple of things are obvious. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, we all have our own preferences and you can't like everyone. Yes the people that work at Mercury are human. We are not super human robots that get everything right and as such we do make mistakes from time to time. I think the difference between an average workshop and a great workshop is how these mistakes get handled and I know for a fact that we take our clients very seriously and if we ever make a mistake we are the first to admit it and handle it in a professional manner. What is impossible to sort out are the problems that you never hear about until someone posts on a forum about us and the knockers come out of the woodwork to say we are shit and have never actually taken the time to give us any feedback. If there is a problem, all I ever ask is to hear about it first from the client and we will do everything in our power to sort it out as quickly as possible. I started Mercury 4 years ago, selling parts out of my lounge room, and through what has been a massive part of my life, Mercury has grown into what I think is one of the best workshops in Brisbane. We may not be the best, but hey, that comes down to an individual opinion. I think that we build some very tough cars and are always straight up and down with our clients. I never recommend anything to clients that doesn't provide them with benefit and I always take the time to explain to the client what we are recommending and why. I have never understood why someone would listen to a random comment on a forum as to why or whynot go somewhere. Why not come down to the workshop, have a look at what goes on there and make up your own mind. Lastly, thanks to all of the people that posted on here saying that we are a good shop. It is greatly appreciated and I hope that we can be of service in the future. For those that think we aren't good, well all I can say is sorry.

Mercury Dyno Day - Postponed until 14th&15th of August
MercuryMotorsport replied to MercuryMotorsport's topic in Queensland
The workshop is open but we have moved our "official opening" that was meant to be this weekend to the 14/15th of August. We will still be using the dyno sparingly and we have a number of cars booked in for the normal workshop side of things. We will be at the workshop on the weekend, so if anyone wants to pop down, say g'day and have a tour of the place, by all means drop in. I would love to meet as many people as possible. Cheers, Trent MERCURY MOTORSPORT -
Hi Everyone, We have had to reschedule our dyno weekend as the extraction fan for the dyno room was delay due to manufacturing times. The new date is the 14/15th of August and we are still taking bookings. The event will proceed as usual. It should also be noted that we have opened the workshop with a number of nissans already been worked on. I would encourage anyone out there looking to get some work done to either give us a call or pop down for a friendly chat. Cheers, Trent
