Just put my C's on from AtomicBomberMan last night, just takes a little common sense to fit. Cant say how it feels under load as yet as my car isn't really driveable, but seemed sweet driving it around the block.

Just got back from the workshop, and it is a damaged turbo gasket. He picked it in about 2 secs. Its pretty damn obvious once you look at it. Basically the thin paper like seal between the turbo and manifold/engine. If that makes sense. I'll post a pic tonight for reference,

Certainly was louder this morning. Anyhow, I'm taking it to the local workshop to see what they reckon today.

I'll try the turning off thing tomorrow, bit late for the neighbours now. It's probably more of a ticking sound, and after sticking my head right down its actually ticking on idle as well. Thanks for the info.

Well I just turned the boost controller down as far as I could and took it around the block, it seems to be getting louder, and after sticking my head right in there it seems like the ticking is definately coming from the turbo or what I think is the manifold? It sounds like V6 carby engine when revving Oh man, I'm wondering if i've overboosted it yesterday when fiddling with BC, though according to my boost gauge I didnt go over 6PSI

As soon as I jumped in my car this morning there was a loud fast fluttering sound which seems to be eminating from around the turbo, it flutters only when revving and accelerating not on idle and the car as a whole seems allot more sluggish. On Saturday I changed the oil & filter, all was fine on Sunday I did about 200kms with no sign of fluttering, Sunday I was also trying to setup my high setting on the dual stage boost controller that I had installed a month ago. But after adjusting and testing I could get no boost increase out of it so I carefully set it back to the original position to be safe. I can also hardly hear the BOV anymore too. All valves and hoses around the boost controller seemed secure and tight. Leak maybe? I know this isn't very descriptive but anyone got any ideas?

I think Midas was either $70 or $140 for the front shocks install I cant remember sorry, you mentioned $65 so maybe $70 is right?

Should be easy enough, you will need compressor clamps. I got mine from K-Mart but they were to big and pretty much useless so dont get them there. So I just booked mine into Midas to be done. Just remember to compress the spring before undoing the top.

I took a really rough back road one day to get to steep hill climb for a bit of fun, I often wonder if that road caused this, I'm guessing it did (Sustec's as well).

Yeah one of the first things I did when I got the car was check the tyre and jack... But then I forgot to carry the wheel unlocking nut, Doh!

In between the 2 vents should be fine, mine would be around the same height.

I have a similar problem usually changing from 4th - 5th at about 120km/h. This usually only happens though when its the first gear change into 5th, then its fine?

The hair spray is bullshit. I've got the photblocker spray on my plates, I've tested the plates before and after and it works (Not by speeding )

Had a job done by Premier in Fawkner on my Daewoo, think it was about $150 from memory, had to take it back cause the rear window was bubbling, but has been fine since though (2 years ago).

Ahh its included, thats a relief but yeah still bloody steep! And considering QLD roads are also apalling some of that should go to road construction and not all traffic improvement.

Just got my reg renewal notice, $722 for 12 months, anyone would think that I drive a friggen commercial vehicle? How can QLD be $200 more than states like VIC? Whats the deal with CTP, i'm from VIC originally? It states another $357 for 12 months CTP. So does this mean $722 + $357 = Too ****en much! Surely it can't be that? I'm confused? I'd call em but its Friday night...
