  1. I thought it was 2 seperate readings that you could switch between INHg or PSI... Me = Derrr Yeah, but as you said it doesnt go into positive until you floor it, as I found out today.
  2. Can anyone please help, as I want to start fiddling with the high switch on the boost controller?
  3. I've just had a Dual Stage Boost Controller & TypeX Boost Gauge fitted, the left side of the gauge shows in inHG and the right side shows in PSI. At the moment the gauge sits on 20 inHG on idle, i'm going to ask a dumb question... Is this 'inch of mercury' or 'inch of mercury vacuum'? 20 'inch of mercury' = 9.8 PSI ? 20 'inch of mercury vacuum' = 4.87 PSI ? The guy who set it up said the low setting switch on the boost controller was a little lower than standard boost level, so does this mean that I'm running about 4.87 PSI? It seemed less powerful on the drive home.
  4. If its anything like the C's then it should be simple according to this.
  5. There has been a few threads on this recently, you can get hi-density bulbs for $40-70. Do a search for 'Bulb Removal'
  6. These are list of links I have gathered over recent months. Thought some may find them useful when doing research for parts, info and comparing prices. These links include, brokers, compliancers, import car yards and parts. http://www.meggala.com http://www.powerlink.co.nz/~graeme/faq/ http://www.overflow.250x.com/_framed/250x/...rflow/index.htm http://www.autoforce.com.au http://www.bigboyztoyz.com.au/ http://www.blitz.com.au/ http://www.bossandi.com.au/ http://www.carizma.com.au/ http://www.centrelineaus.com/ http://www.cypherindustries.com.au http://www.c-red.com.au/ http://www.directimported.com.au/ http://www.fullboost.com.au/ http://www.gcg.com.au http://www.greenline.jp/ http://www.hks.com.au/ http://www.horsepowerinabox.com http://www.ichiban.com.au/ http://www.importdriver.com.au http://www.importscene.com.au/ http://www.japaneseautocentre.com.au/ http://www.japanesemotorsport.com.au/ http://www.japanperformancedirect.com.au/ http://www.japimports.com.au/ http://www.japlinkmotors.com.au/ http://www.j-spec.com.au/ http://www.justjap.com http://www.msaimports.com.au http://www.nengun.siteblast.com/ http://www.onautos.com.au/ http://www.ozdirect.com.au http://www.perfectrun.com.au/ http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/ http://www.renewauto.com.au/ http://www.revriteperformance.com/ https://secure-krakatoa.commercevault.com/p...r/index_01.html http://www.sportscarfactory.com.au/ http://www.sports-and-performance-imports.com/ http://www.streetmachines.com.au/ http://www.svi.com.au./ http://www.takakaira.com/ http://www.tempetyres.com.au/ http://www.tokyoimports.com.au/ http://www.tufftoys.com.au/ http://www.upimports.com.au/ http://www.uniqueautosports.com.au/ http://www.uniquemotors.com.au http://www.unrealautosports.com/ http://www.xspeed.dreamhost.com/ http://www.xtremecarperformance.com.au/ http://www.whiteline.com.au/
  7. Was checking hoses around the BOV and AFM this morning, removed and refitted again to be sure. Here is a video, it surges about 4 times in this clip usually every 4-5 seconds. Its nothing major, but still would like to know what on earth causes it.
  8. Mine does have a Turbosmart Type II BOV, was already on their when I bought it though.
  9. Hi Guys, my engine seems to be surging when on idle. Its been getting slightly more noticable over recent months. Other than that it still responsive when cruising and redlining. Is this normal at all? Any ideas as to what this could be, timing? fuel lines/fuel pump? head gasket? I can probably do a little video of it, if it helps? Cheers

  11. Thanks Torrens, Apexi's website only seems to refer to the BNR32/BCNR33.
  12. Guys, i'm after the PowerFC product codes for a 95 R33 GTST? 414-N026? 414-N029? Do they vary at all for 33's? Or is it one size fits all?
  13. Looks good, very similar to mine, probably weigh a tonne like mine too?
  14. The UAS panel is about $90, I've just got one but yet to install it. Its fully flexible, basically foam with heat reflective stuff on one side that you can see they have cut with a stanley knife. Probably make your own one just as good from clarks rubber & a windscreen sunreflector visor? I reckon the panel is not much good without a CAI pipe feed?
  15. $430 + Postage? Edit: Can deposit right away?
  16. $400 if you have manual and all relevant wires/attachments? This is the one, right?
  17. Bugger! Why couldn't you sell this in about a month? Am saving for this kit right now but can't afford it for another month

  19. Hi Guys, though i'd post up some pics, theres hardly any difference looking at my crudy photos, but I have to say it really makes a difference when driving, i'd estimate about 30% better. These are Philips Vison Plus ($39 from Autobarn) they were actually the cheapest ones they had. They have blue tips, but there is no blue element visible both when driving and looking at them from different angles with the naked eye.
  20. Out of curiousity how long do you guys leave your TT's running?
  21. Guys what V/W should they be? Personally i'm after some blue/white bulbs. I noticed some here & here.

  23. I remember seeing an imports style show on Bris31 a few weeks ago. I cant remember what it was called bit it was on Thursday night, it wasn't that bad actually, they were road testing Soarers at the time. Is it the same show?
  24. Milo, I'm pretty much in the same boat as you, I've had my R33 a couple of months and am contemplating mods. If I was you i'd look at getting a 3" exhaust/hiflow cat/dump, air pod+partition wall, dual stage boost controller, FMIC (not to big) and an APEXi S-AFC II or full blown chip like a powerfc if you have the cash. Susupension and handling wise, maybe some front and rear strut bars, pineapples and adjustable suspension.
