im currently trying to replace the ignition barrel which is fixed to steering rod via a bolt however bolt head is completely smooth dome.. wot can i do?

umm sounds very similar to my issue and i have followed the tut on cleaning the afm and checking the solder.. still happening.. does anyone know voltage the afms should be seeing normally

will check it out 2day.. when looking a leak, should i be checking around in the engine bay near the clutch unit.. still not sure how to identify the clutch pedal box and if its cracks open under pressure..

hi guys, similar issue with my 32R, few days ago my clutch started to travel to the floor and i had to pump it dozen times to get it into gear.. got progressively worse till last nite i couldnt get it into gear at all.. anyhows i popped the bonnet and checked fluid level, the clutch one (sitting next to brake booster?) was empty so i refilled with brake fluid (is this acceptable, dot4?).. pumped it few times and bingo, able to change gears smoothly.. i couldnt find any leaks on the firewall but yet to check under the car.. this morning same issue, couldnt get it into gear for ages although fluid level is still full.. nothing has been changed ie, clutch, gearbox etc.. im able to shift gears fine without the car started.. when driving, its all smooth and no noises etc.. wots my next course of action?? bleed the system (will lookup the tut).. how do i check for broken clutch pedal box? is this the same unit in the engine bay?

nope doesnt matter, i have 310km AMR speedo, did the change few days ago and everything back to normal.. power steering is working fine now

u will need a new speedo cable.. around $100 odd from nissan.. theres a thread somewhere bout a guy temp fixing it with a straw but my suggestion is to get 2nd hand or new cable.. ur power steering is affected without speed feedback hence the tightness.. im in the same boat :-) edit: the needle that attaches to the back of the cluster is broken, you rev counter n other bits shud still work

just wondering whether short or long wheels nuts should be used on these rims btw: anyone know which rays/enkei rims these are?
