Its a 32.. never seen a 32 with cruise control :S I was going to use it with my Bee*R limiter as a setup for antilag that I could turn off via a rocker switch, but wasn't sure what it could be for

Installing my BEE*R limiter today I have the pinouts and wiring colours.. do I just keep the ecu loom in tact and splice into the wires going to the ecu or do I need to be cutting the wires at the ecu and replacing them with the ones from the BEE*R unit

I have a BEE*R limiter, I have found the DIY section on SAU about installing it. BUT it doesnt suggest on what I need to do to hook it up.. ie. - Cut wires and hook beeR straight into the back of the ecu leaving the loom side wires loose? - Bridge bee*R into loom and dont cut anything? - Cut wires and hook up to loom and leave the ecu wires loose?

something has to pull up he big heavy 31's!! nothing wrong with having big f**k off brakes on a street car, not like its making the car less safe! if you have a street car that gets from 0-100 in 4-5 seconds you want to make it perform the best it can under braking

why has nobody mentioned R34 GTT brakes? I plan on doing this conversion to my 32 in the next couple of months, only thing I am worried about is the calipers not fitting in my 17" P1's, but hopefully should be ok

Problem with defi's is if you want to expand your range of gauges in your car and you do it a few years down the track, they have changed the design. at least with autometer they have kept their same design for as long as I can remember bubba.. what are you paying through summit apposed to rocket here in aus?

Got bored this afternoon, decided that I would make a new gearstick and handbrake lever boot... Thought this might be some inspiration to some to not give in to the easy way out and buy some, removes that personalised touch of your car. Gear Stick Boot Cut down the stitching with a precision blade (like used for modeling) Stitching taken out and ironed out ready for tracing Handbrake Lever Boot Tomorrow going to get some bigger needles for the sowing machine and some red and black cotton. I will post up further pics as it goes a long.

Yep, thats the pipe, goes to the other cover.. They all go hard and crack. Just go to Enzed/Pirtek and purchase some oil hose the correct diameter and just loop it round with a couple of new hose clamps

I have fitted a few tyres myself and low profile tyres are a flamin mongrel even on a tyre machine..very tight, You need the machine especially to pull the tyre around under the lip when you put the tyre back on, pretty much have to stretch them on. I have seen 4wd tyres been done without a machine but it is pretty hard work. Perhaps you could put a nice set of split rims on instead lol +$50 is a bit rude just to swap them over, is he balancing them as well? Even still.. phwaar! lol I don't have anything against other models of skylines, I have had 3x 32's, I love the old school but not dated styling, how they offer raw power and none of this traction control crap, easy to fix, light weight ect.. There are other people that see the car the same way, not just another drift shitter. So its more of a club for people who are passionate about their R32. But hey not everyone is going to like the idea I suppose, if it goes well great. If not well shit happens, no harm in trying. I respect what you're saying funkymonkey, I am not going to argue with you. /thread

what does the mechanics of the car have anything to do with it. The forum is not about trying to out-do SAU.. It is for people who love the car's styling and history to put it in short. I put the idea to a few 32 Owners and they thought it was a good idea, yes its a small club but size is not everything.

Hi there guys, my name is Dan, I run a WA based car club for R32 Skyline Owners. I am looking at expanding this club throughout Aus and getting the word out. I am looking for an individual in Victoria who is interested in being the VIC event organiser for the club. You would need to be mature, really love your 32 and dont intend on selling it any time soon. Willing to donate your time and a little bit of coin for organising regular cruises. (I try and run one every 1-2 months) Willing to organise driving events, dyno days and any show events that would be suitable for showing the type of cars that we have. I dont expect this person to be on the ball for every car show available, I just expect for them to do their bit for the club and attend at least a major event eg.. powercruise You also need to be conscious of the image you give the club.. ie.. dont organise a cruise and go and drop burnouts at every meet point. The club prides itself on just enjoying the drive, the cars and the people in the club. pretty simple stuff either pop me a PM or show your interest in here.

I thought the 32 had a borg warner :S Was just thinking that if I weld it, if the welding breaks I will be stuck on the side of the road. So should I just shim it up? I just want it to be predictable.. at the moment it reverts from twins to singles and it snaps back and piss's me off. Also picks up a tyre through a corner and spins it and Cant get the power to the ground evenly.

does anyone know where to buy a minispool for a R32 GTST? what specs do I need to look out for and will the same mini spool fit any other cars? ie.. do I look for a R31 mini spool or something. Cheers Dan
