  4. It is too easy to whipe your tune with the Power FC hand controller so it would be good if I could have a saved map on data logit. Does anyone have the software. Please email [email protected] Cheers

  6. I put an untuned Power Fc in to make sure it works (and it does) and then wanted to put my standard one back in as the standard one felt a bit quicker. It unmatched my key so I tried the procedure and it does at you say..6 times and the hazard light blinks but when I go to ACC and press lock...nothing. Do you have to do the lot in 10s? My hazards don't blink when I press lock in ACC. Is there a set amount of time to code enable?
  7. Normal FC. yeah actually the immobiliser sounds logical, maybe a full disconnect of batter and let discharge might be the go.
  8. I haven't gotton around to getting my Power FC tuned yet and as I read that the standard computer has probably a 'quicker' tune I decided to put it back in. The Power FC has only been in about 2 months and nothing has changed since I took the standard one out. All it does is wind over but not start. When I put the FC back in, it starts firts time. It will be a few months before I can get the FC tuned, why would my standardy not start?
  9. Any one got a suitable clutch for my 34 GTR. Everything needed preferably new/ish Don't want to go broke just getting a clutch [email protected]
  10. Have a youtube search for apexi ecv or varex. The varex seems to be the more effective and actually still allows a fair bit of air to flow as it is re directed around and through the baffles of the muffler. The ECV seems to make a 3.5" system turn into a 0.5" system but I suppose if it is only used when the boys in blue are around then the lack of power wouldn't be an issue, I just question the back pressure it may cause.
  11. I have a few options or just suck it up and put the car in high gear through town. I have a 3.5 Inch Kakimoto Exhaust and its LOUD. Option 1. Varex which has a Fob that electronically controls a valve thjat diverts the air around and through the baffles in the muffler. This will require welding as I have a single piece system. Option 2. Apexi ECV that is chord operated and gets put behind the cat and has to have a cable into your car. Option 3. Get a new system. I'm sure there are plenty with good power and quiter than mine. What do you think?

  13. Weird..after my fretting, a simple bad earth was the issue.
  14. In the manual it says to earth terminal 4 but in the same manual (and in the car) there is no wire in terminal 4. Is this right??? What is the best way to check hicas on a 34 gtr. Normal Conzult shows no faults but isn't the hicas computer a seperate check?

  18. Interesting development. The TPS seems fine and volts are good to a multimeter and to the diagnostic plug under the dash, but the MFD still drops it out on startup and when it does..poof light are up. Is the diagnostic plug before the MFD? Any clues...it seems simple but difficult, if you know what I mean. Could the MFD be faulty? ECU maybe? Do I have to start ripping the car apart to trace volts?
  19. I am hoping this is obvious. My mfd calibrates fine and the TPS checks fine but when I start the car the TPS range won't show..and therefore sets off the 4wd and alsd light. On occasion when the range actually works then no lights and all is good. Would it be a safe assumption to say the TPS mayb be faulty by not hacking maybe a spike on startup??? Anyone else had this happen?
  20. If the camera is of the acc that means it would be on all the time when the car is on and as it is a night one also the little leds would be on when not needed. Anyone know where the 34 GTR reversing relay is?
  21. Probably a simple question but I'd thought I'd throw it out there. 1. The camera needs 12v that obviously you don't want running all the time so I would pressume you could bum it of the reversing lamp circuit?? 2. The head unit has an auto switch function that puts it on the units reversing camera mode with 12v in. I could install a rocker switch but where could I get 12v from in the cab that only is available in reverse? I don't think there is an ECU pin or fuse ot dash indication. Any tips? Cheers
