  1. I feel you pain with iTunes..... does not work on Linux....
  2. I reckon it might breath some new life into a "flogged horse"... Seriously does look cool
  3. +1 Miami Rice vote plus the bonus Magic Tree.. mmmm love that scent...
  4. The vents are held in with clips, very gently pry it out from the left and the right, they should pop out, from there its smooth sailing, just undo the screws for stuff...
  5. Hi Guys, I have a Calibra Turbo - needs a clutch and a few other minor things. Turbo 2.0 4x4 Red Leather Recaro interior 6 Speed Manual Sports Exhaust 16" alloys Had a timing belt and water pump about 20k ago. Boost Guage Body Kit 193,000 Needs a clutch, has some oil leaks and the drivers power window does not work all the time, paint is a little faded on the rear spoiler. It currently has the radiator out and a few things as I have tried playing with adjustment on the gear box to see if this was the issue. I do not have the cash to fix this up so my loss is someone else's gain, also has no rego at the moment. Looking for around 2.5k ono as is for a quick sale as it needs some work, give me a call or pm me to discuss. Might be interested in swaps for something old Contact Details: 0422 518 798 http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q127/pe...h/backseats.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q127/petikiah/dash.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q127/petikiah/front.jpg http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q127/petikiah/engine.jpg

  7. My car had a factory actuator, had to buy an after market one anyway as it would not work with the new alarm properly, missing some wires or something, cost an extra 50 bucks fitted, no biggie. So i wouldn't worry too much.
  8. 6 looks like a pretty good deal I reckon
  9. +1 to alarm 2 or 3 point alarm - you are mad if you have any sports car without one, and your insurance might drop for it as well. Plus get a huge snake to sit on the parcel shelf, it will keep it warm and it can eat rogue flies...
  10. +1 to buying interstate as well, I grabbed mine from a dealer interstate, pm me is you want their details, very good service and price was amazing. Made dealing interstate easier, most private sellers didnt get back to me or messed me around unfortunatly. I saved alot, ID inspected and rego'ed at the rego office in 30 minutes total. But the car was stock as a rock except for some rims. If i was buying a modified car i probably would not look interstate. I've taken 4 different vehicles through regency and to me it seems not worth the mess around if its not stock. Just my 2 cents if that helps.
  11. I cant see any plates or rego on that really cheap one maybe its not complied? Did you go look at it?
  12. I did a R31 auto Passage GT to manual conversion definitely check out R31 Skyline Club, they have all the info you need including wiring diagrams. If you get the box and stuff cheap its not too expensive all should bolt up pretty much, you might need to trick the computer into thinking its not in neutral to use the auto comp Passage might be different. Only tip I have is use a Pintara pedal box and clutch hydrolics - it was cheaper to buy than a skyline one don't ask me why though they are pretty much the same.
  13. Well the whole lot including flights cost me around 19k that included rego and transfers, it is a 34 GTT Manual about 90,000 on the clock, few minor blemishes, but hey its 12 years old so in good nick for that. Had all features except sunroof and the premium speakers, I specifically did not want a sunroof as I am 6'4 and the sound system is getting turfed because its jap, it had a stock body kit. I personally did not want any mods on it or body kits, so stock as a rock, interior was excellent and the thing was pretty good. Only issue was a scrape under the car which the inspection people missed and I could not see until it got up a hoist so it needs a new exhaust. I was really happy with the service there and the car was what it was presented as.
  14. I went through this a while ago and went the 34 I probably would have bought a 33 GTR if I did less driving, but the way I see it is if your gonna do lots of K's its not worth the hassles of maintaing a GTR. That said I haven't owned one so i am going on what I have heard of upkeep being a little higher, I guess you would look after a GTR better as well so more $$$ per Kms because you'd care for it more.... +1 for Japcars I got my 34 there in top condition and I came from Interstate to get it o.O Whatever you choose make sure you get any car inspected by a good mechanic even if its in a yard it will save alot of money in the long run. Just my thoughts.
  15. A sparkey can connect it to their diagnostic computer, or if you have a search through the forums I am pretty sure you can use the paper clip method on a 34 to check if there are any codes on the ecu. If it shudders for that long or less its probably nothing to worry too much about, that being said - my 34 GTT does not shudder at all when starting.
  16. How long does it shudder for? like 1-5 seconds or 30 seconds? I would be looking to see if there are any error codes on the ecu.
  17. It could also be a bent timing gear making the belt rub on the casing, saw that once, someone had tried to stop the pulleys moving by jamming something in there. Or a stuffed tensioner bearing its not unheard of having one of those noisy from new. Price sounds good to me it is a bit of work. EDIT - just realised how old this post is!
  18. +1 to Juz except I use Metho instead of WD40 I think 40 might lift paint if your paints sun damaged / old
  19. Pretty sure you can convert to ntfs without formating the drive in MS MMC, you used to be able to. It does suck pretty much all USB drives come FAT32 out of the box for compatibility.
  20. I've been playing on Khaz'Garoth - seem to be alot of Aussies on there, but gave up a few months back, its heaps dumbed down now though imo. As people have said very time consuming
