I just changed from Just car to SGIC - they certainly insure R34's, they did say that they only insure turbo's on over 25's. 300 bucks saving and benefits like windscreens, hire cars etc... Last time I checked with them a year ago they wouldnt do it. So worth giving them a call imo.

I had a similar experience, turned out to be a leaking fuel line messing with the fuel pressure.

I know exactly what you are going through - go sit in one and you will probably make the same heart wrenching decision i did - no sunroof. Its just not quite enough head room to be comfortable if your tall.

Took me about six months looking, I had a set budget that was realistic and found one in the end locally at a Victorian import yard.

Is it running really noisy? is the oil in the coolant?

Chances are as well if there are these things wrong it may not have been looked after very well and there might be more wrong with it, suspension, diff etc... Personally i would steer clear of anything major wrong with a used r32 unless you know exactly what you are doing mechanically - there are heaps of clean ones about still why bother messing with paint and gearboxes.

front bar is the most noticable thing... looks wierd.. i think most people put a s1 bar on them to 'fix' it
