it looked different under the lights too!! it wasnt pitch black it dried in my house near the heater for a few hours and looked good... then i looked a it this morning and it was way too light. i know it changes a little... but this is A LOT. crappy thing... it doesnt look too bad tho... i'll get used to it.

too shiney for me... shan - going to respray the engine bits after the front end has been replaced and fitted... will also polish the cam covers and the plenum... while at the sametime replacing the plugs and myabe fitting some bigger injectors. me and my bro are also making a rollcage for it as hes got a pipe bender.

i cant be bothered taking it all out again to paint it a darker grey so im going to have to finish everything else in the same colour... what a pain in the arse... i wanted something less obvious or attention atracting.

i would rather have something modified.... ur a tool if u think that nothing silly has been done in it because its not midified... i woudl rather have something with aftermarket parts which are designed for more punishment than the stock parts.

if they want to do it properly then they will have to... depending on how badly damaged the back is if they have to make any repairs to the rear qtr panel then they will need to blend the paint thru the back and roof... if it goes further back then they will have to blend it thru the doors. i used to be a panel beater/painter so i know a few tricks of how to do it properly and dodgily

if u can try and get one with the interior like mine... velour is much nicer and it doesnt look like a hyundai interior with all those crappy coloured flecks thru it.

tell him u want all GENUINE nissan parts BRAND NEW... they cost a bundle if u dont know where to go... the guys at palm get in all new parts and order them from japan... should bump the price up a bit. i agree tho i wouldnt want it to go anywhere that they want u to depending on what insurance company ur with

what a n00b... obviously didnt read any of the posts... telstra like to make there customers think that stringing them to 48k when their line can only handle 36k is a valid solution... this is why telstra tech support is useless like a used tampon. half or more of what u have suggested we have already gone thru and tested.

dried too damn light! it was meant to be a darker grey... instead it almost a light grey/blue one good thing came from it... i finally mounted the guage properly... cant see the wires or hose anymore. oh and the light works now

ouch 4k... that sux. 2 weeks is a long time to go without ur car... i feel for u. I will have to do the same once i take mine there to get the car sprayed and GTR front end fitted. but i';ll have the gfs soarer so it wont be all bad

now im getting worried... its got a 3" single zorst and hks pod... running 12psi (with no boost controller which is quite hi i thought)

pred they octane and venoms have a similar shape to 32 seats anyway... so in my custom colour to match my own interior it wont stand out as much... i'll get a matching passengers seat later on... like the last mod.

i dont see why u would bother getting it to do it up... the whole idrea is for u to save money... in which case u would be better off getting a lightly moded R32 from japan... every car has been thrashed and if ui ask me the entry level turbo is an S13 or 180... i see double the amount of them on the rds than i do r32s.

meh im not too interested in getting a diff seat for the passenger that would be the last thing to go in. The 32 seats are pretty cool anyway so i would probably leave the passengers seat as is and get the material on my one coloured to suit... and in velour.
