lol yeah its always the ISP when was the last time u reinstalled the modem driver? DFM560s arent the greatest modems. Are you using the latest driver? Have you tried locking the modem down to a more stable speed? Tried a decent external modem? Could also be the phoneline... things change over time, like line quality... ever seen a telstra techie van around the neighbourhood? theres so many things that can affect the way it works
