  1. Yeh, i understand that cheap rims are a lot heavier and not made to the same quality, thats why they are cheap. I already have some Volk Racing GT-C's on the car which I will use for the motorkhana's, hill climbs, wakefield... I don't exactly plan to have an incident in the car (as most people wouldn't), and yes, i know stuff happens. I'm keen to buy these http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Go...De-t197378.html but I'm not going to lay down the money until I can guarantee fitment without spacers. Its a lot of money to throw away otherwise... Can anyone confirm it asap so I could make an offer to the guy? (Sorry guys, i'm not disagreeing with any of you, I just figured cheap rims for around town aren't going to be so much of an issue. But as you say, throw more penny's at rims for quality, I will, if ^^ these ^^ fit, i'll buy them now)
  2. Will these fit my R33 S2 without modification and no spacers required??? http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Go...54#entry3544054 --OR-- http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/18...Gt-t195916.html
  3. Hi ACT guys and gals, I'm looking at getting rid of my spacers in the early new year and have found some replica GT-Cs on Tempe's website. They are 18 x 7.5 with a +31 offset or a +40 offset. http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc266/EMPIREAERO/GTC.jpg Does anyone know if these will fit ok on a R33 GTST without the need for spacers on the front or rear? Cheers Sam
  4. Can anyone confirm that these will fit an R33 Series 2 GTST without using spacers?
  5. If the DIN pocket fits an R33 Series 2 GTST, i'll snap that straight up. $20 + postage to Canberra (post code 2603)
  6. Indicators recieved, installed and working perfectly!! Very Happy!
  7. Spotted a Gunmetal R32 heading onto the parkway last night. Gave it a good bootfull of revs to say hi to me and the missus as we were turning onto drakeford. Also, spotted a White R33 this arvo coming out of Greenway heading towards Tuggers shopping centre via Athlon Drive.
  8. Cheers TURISMO, I can only imagine what i was doing in the RS...... The only editing software i've used was Windows Movie Maker...
  9. So are you saying my was one of the expensive ones or not?? Hmm... harsh
  10. I'd love to have another go out there again but can't make it this Sunday. I won't be back to a skidpan session till January. P.S - TURISMO, do you have any footage from the Northrop session that was on after the last SAUACT session was on?
  11. As with most ECU upgrades, it is generally better to ask what your tuner is most familiar with. I used a PowerFC on the Subaru and it worked very well without missing a beat. As a20089 asked, what modifications do you have? It also depends on your budget and what you are looking to get out of it. I personally would pick a standalone ECU over a Piggyback unit, however, i've never used a piggyback unit. Haltech make awesome ECU's but I am not sure on what tuners in Canberra work with these.
  12. You guys looked to have heaps of fun out there in the morning! Was great meeting you guys. The afternoon session absolutely rocked! The car is absolutely covered head to toe in muddy stained thick 'water'. Hopefully one of the staff at my work will wash it for me... It was unfortunate that I didn't see any of my mates with video camera's like you guys had, so I don't know how it looked, but it felt insane.
  13. Spotted a very clean Silver R33 GTR at Erindale today around 12:40pm
  14. Thats insane LadyBytes!! Never thought those sort of attacks happened in the ACT. Are you / was it north or southside? I'm slowly getting my backside into gear to try and come out to these nights. Just making the most of the year before my missus goes to Norway for 6 months. So time is of the essence..

  16. Spotted a black 33 with white rims leaving some white puffs as it took off in Kambah today around 6:20, most likely getting a little annoyed with a small car taking their sweet time in turning into U-Stow IT..
  17. ahh right... well if i end up trimming the blades i might sand paper them down slowly and shape them so it looks normal
  18. There's no major side effects to trimming the fan? It's spins awfully fast and can unbalance easily no?
  19. Spotted Bullet32 (i think) passing Theodore towards Monaro Hwy this morning.
  20. Cheers for the info Sauce. I'm still runnin stock boost as well as the fuel pump is still standard... I'll be taking out my eboost2 from the subie later to install into it if I get bored. The main thing I was really worried about was fitting the cooler piping across the radiator and having to cut the fan blades.
  21. I've noticed this as well Baconer. Was looking closely at the ARC kits, I just can't justify the extra cost for them as much. The Just Jap ones from what I read on the JJ posts is that it's all to do with the prep work so you don't have to trim the fan blades. Under washer bottle is easy sorted to fill the hole. As for the other trimming/cutting, i would expect that the Blitz LM and ARC kits require just as much cutting of the reo bar and front bar... Thanks for the help though guys, its good to hear other peoples thoughts.
  22. Thanks race_snooze, just waiting for Steve from JustJap to reply.
  23. Hoping to CeJay. Had heaps of fun with the RS but I was sick of breaking a sweat so much... Hopefully I'll have this FMIC thing sorted for the 11th... dunno what to do yet.. (*hints to post in ACT section*)
